and Dathan <1885 Dathan > and Abiram <48> came < 3318 yatsa> >
out , and stood <5324 natsab > in the door <6607 pethach > of
their tents <0168 >ohel > , and their wives <0802 >ishshah > ,
and their sons <1121 ben > , and their little <2945 taph >

: 28 And Moses <4872 Mosheh > said <0559 >amar > , Hereby
<2063 zo>th > ye shall know <3045 yada< > that the LORD <3068
Y@hovah > hath sent <7971 shalach > me to do <6213 <asah > all

>adam > that [ appertained ] unto Korah <7141 Qorach > , and

: 33 They , and all <3605 kol > that [ appertained ] to them
, went <3381 yarad > down <3381 yarad > alive < 2416 chay > into
the pit <7585 sh@>owl > , and the earth <0776 > erets > closed
<3680 kacah > upon them : and they perished <6> from among <8432

: 34 And all <3605 kol > Israel <3478 Yisra>el > that [ were ]
round <5439 cabiyb > about them fled <5127 nuwc > at the cry
<6963 qowl > of them : for they said <0559 >amar > , Lest <6435
pen > the earth <0776 >erets > swallow <1104 bala< > us up [
also ] .

: 35 . And there came <3318 yatsa> > out a fire < 0784 >esh >
from the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > , and consumed <0398 > akal > the
two hundred <3967 me>ah > and fifty <2572 chamishshiym > men
<0376 >iysh > that offered <7126 qarab > incense <7004 q@toreth
> .

: 36 And the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > spake <1696 dabar > unto
Moses <4872 Mosheh > , saying <0559 >amar > ,

: 37 Speak <0559 >amar > unto Eleazar <0499 > El<azar > the son
<1121 ben > of Aaron <0175 >Aharown > the priest <3548 kohen > ,
that he take <7311 ruwm > up the censers <4289 machtah > out of
the burning <8316 s@rephah > , and scatter <2219 zarah > thou
the fire <0784 >esh > yonder <1973 hal@ah > ; for they are
hallowed <6942 qadash > .

: 38 The censers <4289 machtah > of these <0428 >el - leh >
sinners <2400 chatta> > against their own souls <5315 nephesh > ,
let them make them broad <7555 riqqua< > plates < 6341 pach >
[ for ] a covering <6826 tsippuwy > of the altar <4196 mizbeach
> : for they offered <7126 qarab > them before <6440 paniym >
the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > , therefore they are hallowed < 6942
qadash > : and they shall be a sign <0226 >owth > unto the
children <1121 ben > of Israel <3478 Yisra>el > .

: 39 And Eleazar <0499 >El<azar > the priest < 3548 kohen > took
<3947 laqach > the brasen <5178 n@chosheth > censers <4289
machtah > , wherewith <0834 >aher > they that were burnt <8313
saraph > had offered <7126 qarab > ; and they were made broad
<7554 raqa< > [ plates for ] a covering <6826 tsippuwy > of
the altar <4196 mizbeach > :

: 40 [ To be ] a memorial <2146 zikrown > unto the children
<1121 ben > of Israel <3478 Yisra>el > , that no <3808 lo> >
stranger , which <0834 >aher > [ is ] not of the seed <2233
zera< > of Aaron <0175 >Aharown > , come <7126 qarab > near
<7126 qarab > to offer incense <7004 q@toreth > before <6440
paniym > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > ; that he be not as Korah
<7141 Qorach > , and as his company <5712 <edah > : as the LORD
<3068 Y@hovah > said <1696 dabar > to him by the hand <3027 yad

: 44 And the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > spake <1696 dabar > unto
Moses <4872 Mosheh > , saying <0559 >amar > ,

: 45 Get <7426 ramam > you up from among <8432 tavek > this
<2063 zo>th > congregation <5712 <edah > , that I may consume
<3615 kalah > them as in a moment <7281 rega< > . And they fell

<0175 >Aharown > , Take <3947 laqach > a censer <4289 machtah >

from off <5921 <al > the altar <4196 mizbeach > , and put <7760

quickly <4120 m@herah > unto the congregation <5712 < edah > ,
and make an atonement <3722 kaphar > for them : for there is
wrath <7110 qetseph > gone <3318 yatsa> > out from the LORD

: 47 And Aaron <0175 >Aharown > took <3947 laqach > as Moses
