1. And the fifth <3991-pemptos-> angel <0032- aggelos->
sounded

> fall

of the

bottomless <0012-abussos-> pit <5421-phrear->.

2 And he opened <0455-anoigo-> the bottomless < 0012-
abussos-> pit

<5421-phrear->; and there arose <0305-anabaino-> a smoke

<2586-kapnos-> out of the pit <5421-phrear->, as the smoke

<2586-kapnos-> of a great <3173-megas-> furnace <2575-
kaminos->; and

the sun <2246-helios-> and the air <0109-aer-> were
darkened

3 And there came <1831-exerchomai-> out of the smoke

locusts <0200-akris-> upon the earth <1093-ge->: and unto
them was

scorpions

4 And it was commanded <4483-rheo-> them that they should
not hurt

bottomless

were loosed

19 For their power <1849-exousia-> is in their mouth

and in their tails <3769-oura->: for their tails < 3769-
oura-> [were]

like <3664-homoios-> unto serpents <3789-ophis-> , and had

heads <2776-kephale->, and with them they do hurt < 0091-
adikeo->.

20 And the rest <3062-loipoy-> of the men <0444- anthropos-
> which

<3739-hos-> were not killed <0615-apokteino-> by these
<5025-tautais->

plagues <4127-plege-> yet repented <3340-metanoeo- > not of
the works

<2041-ergon-> of their hands <5495-cheir->, that they
should not

idols

21 Neither <3756-ou-> repented <3340-metanoeo-> they of
their murders
