CHAPTER 7:1 And after <G 3326> these <G 5023> things I saw <G 1492> four <G 5064> angels <G 0032> standing <G 2476> on <G 1909> the four <G 5064> corners <G 1137> of the earth <G 1093>, holding <G 2902> the four <G 5064> winds <G 0417> of the earth <G 1093>, that the wind <G 0417> should not blow < G 4154> on <G 1909> the earth <G 1093>, nor <G 3383> on <G 1909> the sea < G 2281>, nor <G 3383> on <G 1909> any <G 3956> tree <G 1186>. :2 And I saw <G 1492> another <G 0243> angel <G 0032> ascending <G 0305> from the east <G 0395>, having <G 2192> the seal <G 4973> of the living <G 2198> God <G 2316>: and he cried <G 2896> with a loud <G 3173> voice <G 5456> to the four <G 5064> angels <G 0032>, to whom <G 3739> it was given <G 1325> to hurt <G 0091> the earth <G 1093> and the sea <G 2281>, :3 Saying <G 3004>, Hurt <G 0091> not the earth < G 1093>, neither <G 3383> the sea <G 2281>, nor <G 3383> the trees <G 1186>, till <G 0891> we have sealed <G 4972> the servants <G 1401> of our God <G 2316> in their foreheads <G 3359>. :4 And I heard <G 0191> the number <G 0706> of them which were sealed <G 4972>: [and there were] sealed <G 4972> an hundred <G 1540> [and] forty <G 5062> [and] four <G 5064> thousand <G 5505> of all <G 3956> the tribes <G 5443> of the children <G 5207> of Israel <G 2474>. :5 Of the tribe <G 5443> of Juda <G 2455> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. Of the tribe <G 5443> of Reuben <G 4502> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. Of the tribe <G 5443> of Gad <G 1045> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. :6 Of the tribe <G 5443> of Aser <G 0768> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505> Of the tribe <G 5443> of Nepthalim <G 3508> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. Of the tribe <G 5443> of Manasses <G 3128> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. :7 Of the tribe <G 5443> of Simeon <G 4826> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. Of the tribe <G 5443> of Levi <G 3017> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. Of the tribe <G 5443> of Issachar <G 2466> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. :8 Of the tribe <G 5443> of Zabulon <G 2194> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. Of the tribe <G 5443> of Joseph <G 2501> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. Of the tribe <G 5443> of Benjamin <G 0958> [were] sealed <G 4972> twelve <G 1427> thousand <G 5505>. :9 After <G 3326> this <G 5023> I beheld <G 1492>, and, lo <G 2400>, a great <G 4183> multitude <G 3793>, which <G 3739> no <G 3762> man <G 3762> could <G 1410> number <G 0705>, of all <G 3956> nations <G 1484>, and kindreds <G 5443>, and people <G 2992>, and tongues <G 1100>, stood <G 2476> before <G 1799> the throne <G 2362>, and before <G 1799> the Lamb <G 0721>, clothed <G 4016> with white <G 3022> robes <G 4749>, and palms <G 5404> in their hands <G 5495>; :10 And cried <G 2896> with a loud <G 3173> voice <G 5456>, saying <G 3004>, Salvation <G 4991> to our God <G 2316> which <G 3588> sitteth <G 2521> upon the throne <G 2362>, and unto the Lamb <G 0721>. :11 And all <G 3956> the angels <G 0032> stood <G 2476> round <G 2943> about <G 2943> the throne <G 2362>, and [about] the elders <G 4245> and the four <G 5064> beasts <G 2226>, and fell <G 4098> before <G 1799> the throne <G 2362> on <G 1909> their faces <G 4383>, and worshipped <G 4352> God <G 2316>, :12 Saying <G 3004>, Amen <G 0281>: Blessing <G 2129>, and glory <G 1391>, and wisdom <G 4678>, and thanksgiving <G 2169>, and honour <G 5092>, and power <G 1411>, and might <G 2479>, [be] unto our God <G 2316> for ever <G 0165> and ever <G 0165>. Amen <G 0281>. :13 And one <G 1520> of the elders <G 4245> answered <G 0611>, saying <G 3004> unto me, What <G 5101> are these <G 3778> which <G 3588> are arrayed <G 4016> in white <G 3022> robes <G 4749>? and whence <G 4159> came <G 2064> they? :14 And I said <G 2046> unto him, Sir <G 2962>, thou knowest <G 1492>. And he said <G 2036> to me, These <G 3778> are they which came <G 2064> out of great <G 3173> tribulation <G 2347>, and have washed <G 4150> their robes <G 4749>, and made <G 3021> them white <G 3021> in the blood <G 0129> of the Lamb <G 0721>. :15 Therefore <G 5124> are they before <G 1799> the throne <G 2362> of God <G 2316>, and serve <G 3000> him day <G 2250> and night <G 3571> in his temple <G 3485>: and he that sitteth <G 2521> on <G 1909> the throne <G 2362> shall dwell <G 4637> among <G 1909> them. :16 They shall hunger <G 3983> no <G 3756> more < G 2089>, neither <G 3761> thirst <G 1372> any <G 2089> more <G 2089>; neither <G 3761> shall the sun <G 2246> light <G 4098> on <G 1909> them, nor <G 3761> any <G 3956> heat <G 2738>. :17 For the Lamb <G 0721> which <G 3588> is in the midst <G 3319> of the throne <G 2362> shall feed <G 4165> them, and shall lead < G 3594> them unto living <G 2198> fountains <G 4077> of waters <G 5204>: and God <G 2316> shall wipe <G 1813> away <G 1813> all <G 3956> tears <G 1144> from their eyes <G 3788>.
