4 Be ye not as your fathers <1>, unto whom the former < 7223

5 Your fathers <1>, where <0346 >ayeh > [are] they? and the
prophets <5030 nabiy> >, do they live <2421 chayah > for ever

among <0996 beyn > the myrtle <1918 hadac > trees that [were] in

[were there] red <0122 >adom > horses <5483 cuwc >, speckled

9 Then said <0559 >amar > I, O my lord <0113 > adown >, what
<4100 mah > [are] these <0428 >el-leh >? And the angel <4397
mal>ak > that talked <1696 dabar > with me said < 0559 >amar >
unto me, I will shew <7200 ra>ah > thee what <4100 mah > these
<0428 >el-leh > [be].



10 And the man <0376 >iysh > that stood <5975 < amad > among
<0996 beyn > the myrtle <1918 hadac > trees answered <6030 <anah
> and said <0559 >amar >, These <0428 >el-leh > [are they] whom
<0834 >aher > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > hath sent <7971 shalach >
to walk <1980 halak > to and fro through the earth <0776 >erets

11 And they answered <6030 <anah > the angel <4397 mal>ak > of
the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > that stood <5975 <amad > among <0996
beyn > the myrtle <1918 hadac > trees, and said <0559 >amar >,
We have walked <1980 halak > to and fro through the earth <0776
>erets >, and, behold <2009 hinneh >, all <3605 kol > the earth
<0776 >erets > sitteth <3427 yashab > still, and is at rest

12 Then the angel <4397 mal>ak > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >
answered <6030 <anah > and said <0559 >amar >, O LORD <3068
Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> >, how <5704 < ad > long <5704
<ad > wilt thou not have mercy <7355 racham > on Jerusalem <3389
Y@ruwshalaim > and on the cities <5892 <iyr > of Judah <3063
Y@huwdah >, against which <0834 >aher > thou hast had

13 And the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > answered <6030 <anah > the

14 So the angel <4397 mal>ak > that communed <1696 dabar > with
me said <0559 >amar > unto me, Cry <7121 qara> > thou, saying
<0559 >amar >, Thus <3541 koh > saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD
<3068 Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> >; I am jealous <7065
qana> > for Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim > and for Zion <6726
Tsiyown > with a great <1419 gadowl > jealousy <7068 qin>ah >.





15 And I am very sore displeased <7107 qatsaph > with the
heathen <1471 gowy > [that are] at ease <7600 sha> anan >: for I
was but a little <4592 m@<at > displeased <7107 qatsaph >, and
they helped <5826 <azar > forward the affliction < 7451 ra< >.



16 Therefore <3651 ken > thus <3541 koh > saith < 0559 >amar >
the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >; I am returned <7725 shuwb > to
Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim > with mercies <7356 racham >: my
house <1004 bayith > shall be built <1129 banah > in it, saith

and a line <6957 qav > shall be stretched <5186 natah > forth

Thus <3541 koh > saith <0559 >amar > the LORD < 3068 Y@hovah > of
hosts <6635 tsaba> >; My cities <5892 <iyr > through prosperity
<2896 towb > shall yet <5750 <owd > be spread < 6327 puwts >
abroad <6527 parat >; and the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > shall yet

18. Then lifted <5375 nasa> > I up mine eyes <5869 <ayin >, and
saw <7200 ra>ah >, and behold <2009 hinneh > four <0702 >arba< >
horns <7161 qeren >.



19 And I said <0559 >amar > unto the angel <4397 mal>ak > that
talked <1696 dabar > with me, What <4100 mah > [be] these <0428
>el-leh >? And he answered <0559 >amar > me, These <0428 >el-leh
> [are] the horns <7161 qeren > which <0834 >aher > have
scattered <2219 zarah > Judah <3063 Y@huwdah >, Israel <3478

20 And the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > shewed <7200 ra>ah > me four
<0702 >arba< > carpenters <2796 charash >.



21 Then said <0559 >amar > I, What <4100 mah > come <0935 bow>
> these <0428 >el-leh > to do <6213 <asah >? And he spake <0559
>amar >, saying <0559 >amar >, These <0428 > el-leh > [are] the
horns <7161 qeren > which <0834 >aher > have scattered <2219
zarah > Judah <3063 Y@huwdah >, so that no <3808 lo> > man <0376

these <0428 >el-leh > are come <0935 bow> > to fray <2729 charad

Zechariah 2



1. I lifted <5375 nasa> > up mine eyes <5869 < ayin > again, and
looked <7200 ra>ah >, and behold <2009 hinneh > a man <0376
>iysh > with a measuring <4060 middah > line <2256 chebel > in
his hand <3027 yad >.



2 Then said <0559 >amar > I, Whither <0575 >an > goest <1980
halak > thou? And he said <0559 >amar > unto me, To measure
<4058 madad > Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim >, to see <7200 ra>ah
> what <4100 mah > [is] the breadth <7341 rochab > thereof, and
what <4100 mah > [is] the length <0753 >orek > thereof.





3 And, behold <2009 hinneh >, the angel <4397 mal>ak > that
talked <1696 dabar > with me went <3318 yatsa> > forth <3318
yatsa> >, and another <0312 >acher > angel < 4397 mal>ak > went
<3318 yatsa> > out to meet <7125 qir>ah > him,



4 And said <0559 >amar > unto him, Run <7323 ruwts >, speak
<1696 dabar > to this <1975 hallaz > young <5288 na<ar > man,
saying <0559 >amar >, Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim > shall be
inhabited <3427 yashab > [as] towns <6519 p@razah > without
walls for the multitude <7230 rob > of men <0120 > adam > and
cattle <0929 b@hemah > therein <8432 tavek >:



5 For I, saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >, will be
unto her a wall <2346 chowmah > of fire <0784 >esh > round <5439
cabiyb > about, and will be the glory <3519 kabowd > in the
midst <8432 tavek > of her.



6. Ho <1945 howy >, ho <1945 howy >, [come forth], and flee
<5127 nuwc > from the land <0776 >erets > of the north <6828
tsaphown >, saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >: for I
have spread <6566 paras > you abroad <6566 paras > as the four
<0702 >arba< > winds <7307 ruwach > of the heaven <8064 shamayim
>, saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >.



7 Deliver <4422 malat > thyself, O Zion <6726 Tsiyown >, that
dwellest <3427 yashab > [with] the daughter <1323 bath > of
Babylon <0894 Babel >.



8 For thus <3541 koh > saith <0559 >amar > the LORD <3068
Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> >; After <0310 > achar > the
glory <3519 kabowd > hath he sent <7971 shalach > me unto the
nations <1471 gowy > which spoiled <7997 shalal > you: for he
that toucheth <5060 naga< > you toucheth <5060 naga< > the apple
<0892 babah > of his eye <5869 <ayin >.



9 For, behold <2005 hen >, I will shake <5130 nuwph > mine hand
<3027 yad > upon them, and they shall be a spoil <7998 shalal >
to their servants <5647 <abad >: and ye shall know < 3045 yada< >
that the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> > hath sent
<7971 shalach > me.



10. Sing <7442 ranan > and rejoice <8055 samach >, O daughter
<1323 bath > of Zion <6726 Tsiyown >: for, lo, I come <0935 bow>
>, and I will dwell <7931 shakan > in the midst <8432 tavek > of
thee, saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >.



11 And many <7227 rab > nations <1471 gowy > shall be joined
<3867 lavah > to the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > in that day <3117 yowm
>, and shall be my people <5971 <am >: and I will dwell <7931
shakan > in the midst <8432 tavek > of thee, and thou shalt know

tsaba> > hath sent <7971 shalach > me unto thee.



12 And the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > shall inherit <5157 nachal >
Judah <3063 Y@huwdah > his portion <2506 cheleq > in the holy
<6944 qodesh > land <0127 >adamah >, and shall choose <0977
bachar > Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim > again <5750 <owd >.



13 Be silent <2013 hacah >, O all <3605 kol > flesh <1320 basar
>, before <6440 paniym > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >: for he is
raised <5782 <uwr > up out of his holy <6944 qodesh > habitation

Zechariah 3



1. And he shewed <7200 ra>ah > me Joshua <3091 Y@howshuwa< >
the high <1419 gadowl > priest <3548 kohen > standing <5975
<amad > before <6440 paniym > the angel <4397 mal>ak > of the
LORD <3068 Y@hovah >, and Satan <7854 satan > standing <5975
<amad > at <5921 <al > his right <3225 yamiyn > hand <3225
yamiyn > to resist <7853 satan > him.



2 And the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > said <0559 >amar > unto Satan
<7854 satan >, The LORD <3068 Y@hovah > rebuke < 1605 ga<ar >
thee, O Satan <7854 satan >; even the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > that

4 And he answered <6030 <anah > and spake <0559 > amar > unto
those that stood <5975 <amad > before <6440 paniym > him, saying
<0559 >amar >, Take <5493 cuwr > away <5493 cuwr > the filthy
<6674 tsow> > garments <0899 beged > from him. And unto him he
said <0559 >amar >, Behold <7200 ra>ah >, I have caused thine

keep <8104 shamar > my charge <4931 mishmereth >, then thou

9 For behold <2009 hinneh > the stone <68> that I have laid
<5414 nathan > before <6440 paniym > Joshua <3091 Y@howshuwa< >;
upon one <0259 >echad > stone <68> [shall be] seven <7651 sheba<
> eyes <5869 <ayin >: behold <2005 hen >, I will engrave <6605
pathach > the graving <6603 pittuwach > thereof, saith <5002
n@>um > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> >, and I
will remove <4185 muwsh > the iniquity <5771 <avon > of that

10 In that day <3117 yowm >, saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD <3068
Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> >, shall ye call < 7121 qara> >
every man his neighbour <7453 rea< > under <8478 tachath > the
vine <1612 gephen > and under <8478 tachath > the fig <8384
t@>en > tree.



Zechariah 4



1. And the angel <4397 mal>ak > that talked <1696 dabar > with
me came <7725 shuwb > again <7725 shuwb >, and waked <5782 <uwr
> me, as a man <0376 >iysh > that is wakened <5782 <uwr > out of
his sleep <8142 shehah >,



2 And said <0559 >amar > unto me, What <4100 mah > seest <7200
ra>ah > thou? And I said <0559 >amar >, I have looked <7200
ra>ah >, and behold <2005 hen > a candlestick < 4501 m@nowrah >
all <3605 kol > [of] gold <2091 zahab >, with a bowl <1543
gullah > upon the top <7218 ro>sh > of it, and his seven <7651
sheba< > lamps <5216 niyr > thereon <5921 <al >, and seven <7651
sheba< > pipes <4166 muwtsaqah > to the seven < 7651 sheba< >
lamps <5216 niyr >, which [are] upon the top <7218 ro> sh >
thereof:

one <0259 >echad > upon the right <3225 yamiyn > [side] of the
bowl <1543 gullah >, and the other <0259 >echad > upon the left

4 So I answered <6030 <anah > and spake <0559 > amar > to the
angel <4397 mal>ak > that talked <1696 dabar > with me, saying
<0559 >amar >, What <4100 mah > [are] these < 0428 >el-leh >, my
lord <0113 >adown >?



5 Then the angel <4397 mal>ak > that talked <1696 dabar > with
me answered <6030 <anah > and said <0559 >amar > unto me,
Knowest <3045 yada< > thou not what <4100 mah > these <0428 >el-
leh > be? And I said <0559 >amar >, No <3808 lo> >, my lord
<0113 >adown >.



6 Then he answered <6030 <anah > and spake <0559 > amar > unto
me, saying <0559 >amar >, This <2088 zeh > [is] the word <1697
dabar > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > unto Zerubbabel < 2216
Z@rubbabel >, saying <0559 >amar >, Not by might < 2428 chayil >,
nor <3808 lo> > by power <3581 koach >, but by my spirit <7307
ruwach >, saith <0559 >amar > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > of hosts
<6635 tsaba> >.



7 Who <4310 miy > [art] thou, O great <1419 gadowl > mountain
<2022 har >? before <6440 paniym > Zerubbabel < 2216 Z@rubbabel >
[thou shalt become] a plain <4334 miyshowr >: and he shall bring
<3318 yatsa> > forth <3318 yatsa> > the headstone [thereof with]
shoutings <8663 t@shu>ah >, [crying], Grace <2580 chen >, grace
<2580 chen > unto it.



8 Moreover the word <1697 dabar > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >
came <1961 hayah > unto me, saying <0559 >amar >,



9 The hands <3027 yad > of Zerubbabel <2216 Z@rubbabel > have
laid the foundation <3248 y@cuwdah > of this <2088 zeh > house
<1004 bayith >; his hands <3027 yad > shall also finish <1214
batsa< > it; and thou shalt know <3045 yada< > that the LORD
<3068 Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> > hath sent <7971 shalach
> me unto you.



10 For who <4310 miy > hath despised <0937 buwz > the day <3117
yowm > of small <6996 qatan > things? for they shall rejoice
<8055 samach >, and shall see <7200 ra>ah > the plummet in the
hand <3027 yad > of Zerubbabel <2216 Z@rubbabel > [with] those
<0428 >el-leh > seven <7651 sheba< >; they [are] the eyes <5869
<ayin > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >, which run < 7751 shuwt > to
and fro <7751 shuwt > through the whole <3605 kol > earth <0776

11. Then answered <6030 <anah > I, and said <0559 >amar > unto
him, What <4100 mah > [are] these <0428 >el-leh > two <8147
sh@nayim > olive <2132 zayith > trees upon the right < 3225
yamiyn > [side] of the candlestick <4501 m@nowrah > and upon the
left <8040 s@mo>wl > [side] thereof?



12 And I answered <6030 <anah > again <8145 sheniy >, and said
<0559 >amar > unto him, What <4100 mah > [be these] two <8147
sh@nayim > olive <2132 zayith > branches <7641 shibbol > which
<0834 >aher > through <3027 yad > the two <8147 sh@nayim >
golden <2091 zahab > pipes <6804 tsantarah > empty <7324 ruwq >
the golden <2091 zahab > [oil] out of themselves?



13 And he answered <0559 >amar > me and said <0559 >amar >,
Knowest <3045 yada< > thou not what <4100 mah > these <0428 >el-
leh > [be]? And I said <0559 >amar >, No <3808 lo> >, my lord
<0113 >adown >.



14 Then said <0559 >amar > he, These <0428 >el- leh > [are] the
two <8147 sh@nayim > anointed <3323 yitshar > ones, that stand
<5975 <amad > by the Lord <0113 >adown > of the whole <3605 kol
> earth <0776 >erets >.



Zechariah 5



1. Then I turned <7725 shuwb >, and lifted <5375 nasa> > up
mine eyes <5869 <ayin >, and looked <7200 ra>ah >, and behold
<2009 hinneh > a flying <5774 <uwph > roll < 4040 m@gillah >.



2 And he said <0559 >amar > unto me, What <4100 mah > seest
<7200 ra>ah > thou? And I answered <0559 >amar > , I see <7200
ra>ah > a flying <5774 <uwph > roll <4040 m@gillah >; the length
<0753 >orek > thereof [is] twenty <6242 <esriym > cubits <0520
>ammah >, and the breadth <7341 rochab > thereof ten <6235 <eser
> cubits <0520 >ammah >.



3 Then said <0559 >amar > he unto me, This <2063 zo>th > [is]
the curse <0423 >alah > that goeth <3318 yatsa> > forth <3318
yatsa> > over <5921 <al > the face <6440 paniym > of the whole
<3605 kol > earth <0776 >erets >: for every < 3605 kol > one that
stealeth <1589 ganab > shall be cut <5352 naqah > off [as] on
this <2088 zeh > side according <3644 k@mow > to it; and every
<3605 kol > one that sweareth <7650 shaba< > shall be cut <5352
naqah > off [as] on that side according <3644 k@mow > to it.



4 I will bring <3318 yatsa> > it forth <3318 yatsa> >, saith

and it shall enter <0935 bow> > into <0413 >el > the house <1004
bayith > of the thief <1590 gannab >, and into <0413 >el > the
house <1004 bayith > of him that sweareth <7650 shaba< > falsely

16. And it shall come <1961 hayah > to pass, [that] every <3605

Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim > shall even go <5927 < alah > up

hosts <6635 tsaba> >, and to keep <2287 chagag > the feast <2282

17 And it shall be, [that] whoso <0834 >aher > will not come

Mitsrayim > go <5927 <alah > not up, and come < 0935 bow> > not,
that [have] no <3808 lo> > [rain]; there shall be the plague
<4046 maggephah >, wherewith <0834 >aher > the LORD <3068
Y@hovah > will smite <5062 nagaph > the heathen <1471 gowy >
that come <5927 <alah > not up to keep <2287 chagag > the feast

20 In that day <3117 yowm > shall there be upon the bells <4698

21 Yea, every <3605 kol > pot <5518 ciyr > in Jerusalem <3389
Y@ruwshalaim > and in Judah <3063 Y@huwdah > shall be holiness
