Hebrews 1

8 But unto the Son <5207-huios-> [he saith], Thy throne <2362-

ever <0165-aion->: a sceptre <4464-rhabdos-> of righteousness

10 And, Thou, Lord <2962-kurios->, in the beginning < 0746-arche-

11 They shall perish <0622-apollumi->; but thou remainest <1265-

12 And as a vesture <4018-peribolaion-> shalt thou fold <1667-

Hebrews 2



1. Therefore <5124-touto-> we ought <1163-dei-> to give the

lest <3379-mepote-> at <3379-mepote-> any <3379- mepote-> time

5. For unto the angels <0032-aggelos-> hath he not put < 5293-

7 Thou madest <1642-elattoo-> him a little <1024- brachus->

>; thou crownedst <4737-stephanoo-> him with glory < 1391-doxa->
and honour <5092-time->, and didst set <2525-kathistemi- > him
over <1909-epi-> the works <2041-ergon-> of thy hands <5495-
cheir->:



8 Thou hast put <5293-hupotasso-> all <3956-pas-> things in
subjection <5293-hupotasso-> under <5270-hupokato-> his feet
<4228-pous->. For in that he put <5293-hupotasso-> all <3956-pas-
> in subjection <5293-hupotasso-> under him, he left < 0863-

10. For it became <4241-prepo-> him, for whom <3739-hos- > [are]

14. Forasmuch <1893-epei-> then <3767-oun-> as the children
<3813-paidion-> are partakers <2841-koinoneo-> of flesh <4561-
sarx-> and blood <0129-haima->, he also <2532-kai-> himself
<0846-autos-> likewise <3898-paraplesios-> took < 3348-metecho->
part <3348-metecho-> of the same <0846-autos->; that through

16 For verily <1222-depou-> he took <1949-epilambanomai- > not
on <1949-epilambanomai-> [him the nature of] angels < 0032-

epilambanomai-> [him] the seed <4690-sperma-> of Abraham <11>.



17 Wherefore <3606-hothen-> in all <3956-pas-> things it
behoved <3784-opheilo-> him to be made <3666-homoioo-> like
<3666-homoioo-> unto [his] brethren <0080-adephos->, that he
might be a merciful <1655-eleemon-> and faithful <4103- pistos->

Hebrews 3



1. Wherefore <3606-hothen->, holy <0040-hagios-> brethren <0080-
adephos->, partakers <3353-metochos-> of the heavenly <2032-
epouranios-> calling <2821-klesis->, consider <2657- katanoeo->
the Apostle <0652-apostolos-> and High <0749-archiereus- > Priest

2 Who was faithful <4103-pistos-> to him that appointed <4160-

3 For this <3778-houtos-> [man] was counted <0515-axioo- >

5 And Moses <3475-Moseus-> verily <3303-men-> [was] faithful

after;

<1437-ean-> ye will hear <0191-akouo-> his voice < 5456-phone->,



8 Harden <4645-skleruno-> not your <5216-humon-> hearts <2588-
kardia->, as in the provocation <3894-parapikrasmos->, in the
day <2250-hemera-> of temptation <3986-peirasmos-> in the
wilderness <2048-eremos->:



9 When <3756-ou-> your <5216-humon-> fathers < 3962-pater->
tempted <3985-peirazo-> me, proved <1381-dokimazo-> me, and saw
<1492-eido-> my works <2041-ergon-> forty <5062- tessarakonta->

10 Wherefore <1352-dio-> I was grieved <4360- prosochthizo->

12 Take heed <0991-blepo->, brethren <0080-adephos->, lest
<3379-mepote-> there be in any <5100-tis-> of you an evil <4190-
poneros-> heart <2588-kardia-> of unbelief <0570- apaistia->, in
departing <0868-aphistemi-> from the living <2198-zao- > God
<2316-theos->.



13 But exhort <3870-parakaleo-> one <1438-heautou-> another
<1438-heautou-> daily <2250-hemera->, while <3739- hos-> it is
called <2564-kaleo-> To day <4594-semeron->; lest < 3361-me-> any
<5100-tis-> of you be hardened <4645-skleruno-> through the

14 For we are made <1096-ginomai-> partakers <3353- metochos->

15 While <3588-ho-> it is said <3004-lego->, To day <4594-
semeron-> if <1437-ean-> ye will hear <0191-akouo-> his voice
<5456-phone->, harden <4645-skleruno-> not your < 5216-humon->
hearts <2588-kardia->, as in the provocation <3894- parapikrasmos-

16 For some <5100-tis->, when they had heard <0191- akouo->, did
provoke <3893-parapikraino->: howbeit <0235-alla-> not all <3956-
pas-> that came <1831-exerchomai-> out of Egypt <0125- Aiguptos->
by Moses <3475-Moseus->.



17 But with whom <5101-tis-> was he grieved <4360- prosochthizo-

not?

dunamai-> not enter <1525-eiserchomai-> in because < 1223-dia->

Hebrews 4



1. Let us therefore <3767-oun-> fear <5399-phobeo->, lest <3379-
mepote->, a promise <1860-epaggelia-> being left < 2641-kataleipo-
> [us] of entering <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis- > his rest
<2663-katapausis->, any <5100-tis-> of you should seem <1380-

euaggelizo->, as well <2509-kathaper-> as unto them: but the

opheleo-> them, not being mixed <4786-sugkerannumi-> with faith

10 For he that is entered <1525-eiserchomai-> into < 1519-eis->
his rest <2663-katapausis->, he also <2532-kai-> hath ceased

11. Let us labour <4704-spoudazo-> therefore <3767-oun- > to
enter <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis-> that rest <2663-
katapausis->, lest <3361-me-> any <5100-tis-> man fall <4098-
pipto-> after <1722-en-> the same <0846-autos-> example <5262-
hupodeigma-> of unbelief <0543-apeitheia->.



12 For the word <3056-logos-> of God <2316-theos-> [is] quick
<2198-zao->, and powerful <1756-energes->, and sharper <5114-
tomoteros-> than <5228-huper-> any <3956-pas-> twoedged <1366-
distomos-> sword <3162-machaira->, piercing <1338- diikneomai->
even to the dividing <3311-merismos-> asunder of soul < 5590-
psuche-> and spirit <4151-pneuma->, and of the joints <0719-

13 Neither <3756-ou-> is there any creature <2937- ktisis-> that
is not manifest <0852-aphanes-> in his sight <1799- enopion->:
but all <3956-pas-> things [are] naked <1131-gumnos-> and opened
<5136-trachelizo-> unto the eyes <3788-ophthalmos-> of him with
whom <3739-hos-> we have to do <3056-logos->.



14 Seeing then <3767-oun-> that we have <2192-echo-> a great
<3173-megas-> high <0749-archiereus-> priest <0749- archiereus->,
that is passed <1330-dierchomai-> into the heavens <3772- ouranos-

15 For we have <2192-echo-> not an high <0749- archiereus->
priest <0749-archiereus-> which cannot <1410-dunamai-> be
touched <4834-sumpatheo-> with the feeling <4834- sumpatheo-> of
our infirmities <0769-astheneia->; but was in all <3956- pas->
points tempted <3985-peirazo-> like <3665-homoiotes-> as [we are,
yet] without <5565-choris-> sin <0266-hamartia->.



16 Let us therefore <3767-oun-> come <4334-proserchomai- >
boldly <3954-parrhesia-> unto the throne <2362-thronos- > of
grace <5485-charis->, that we may obtain <2983-lambano- > mercy
<1656-eleos->, and find <2147-heurisko-> grace < 5485-charis-> to

Hebrews 5



1. For every <3956-pas-> high <0749-archiereus-> priest <0749-

anthropos-> in things [pertaining] to God <2316-theos->, that he

2 Who can <1410-dunamai-> have compassion <3356- metriopatheo->
