13. Submit <5293-hupotasso-> yourselves to every <3956- pas->

14 Or <1535-eite-> unto governors <2232-hegemon->, as unto them

15 For so <3779-houto-> is the will <2307-thelema-> of God
<2316-theos->, that with well <0015-agathopoieo-> doing <0015-
agathopoieo-> ye may put <5392-phimoo-> to silence < 5392-phimoo-
> the ignorance <0056-agnosia-> of foolish <0878- aphron-> men

16 As free <1658-eleutheros->, and not using <2192-echo- > [your
<3588-ho->] liberty <1657-eleutheria-> for a cloke <1942-
epikaluma-> of maliciousness <2549-kakia->, but as the servants
<1401-doulos-> of God <2316-theos->.



17 Honour <5091-timao-> all <3956-pas-> [men]. Love <0025-
agapao-> the brotherhood <0081-adelphotes->. Fear < 5399-phobeo->
God <2316-theos->. Honour <5091-timao-> the king < 0935-basileus-
>.



18 Servants <3610-oiketes->, [be] subject <5293- hupotasso-> to
[your <3588-ho->] masters <1203-despotes-> with all <3956-pas->
fear <5401-phobos->; not only <3440-monon-> to the good <0018-
agathos-> and gentle <1933-epieikes->, but also <2532- kai-> to

19 For this <5124-touto-> [is] thankworthy <5485-charis- >, if

ei->, when ye be buffeted <2852-kolaphizo-> for your faults

but if <1487-ei->, when ye do <0015-agathopoieo-> well <0015-
agathopoieo->, and suffer <3958-pascho-> [for it], ye take it

21 For even hereunto <5124-touto-> were ye called <2564- kaleo->:
because <3754-hoti-> Christ <5547-Christos-> also <2532-kai->
suffered <3958-pascho-> for us, leaving <5277- hupolimpano-> us
an example <5261-hupogrammos->, that ye should follow < 1872-

10 For he that will <2309-thelo-> love <0025-agapao-> life

12 For the eyes <3788-ophthalmos-> of the Lord <2962- kurios->

13 And who <5101-tis-> [is] he that will harm <2559- kakoo-> you,
if <1437-ean-> ye be followers <3402-mimetes-> of that which is

14 But and if ye suffer <3958-pascho-> for righteousness <1343-
dikaiosune->' sake, happy <3107-makarios-> [are ye]: and be not
afraid <5399-phobeo-> of their terror <5401-phobos->, neither
<3366-mede-> be troubled <5015-tarasso->;



15 But sanctify <0037-hagiazo-> the Lord <2962-kurios- > God
<2316-theos-> in your <5216-humon-> hearts <2588- kardia->: and
[be] ready <2092-hetoimos-> always <0104-aei-> to [give] an
answer <0627-apologia-> to every <3956-pas-> man that asketh
