9. Yet destroyed <8045 shamad > I the Amorite <0567 > Emoriy >
before <6440 paniym > them, whose <0834 >aher > height <1363
gobahh > [was] like the height <1363 gobahh > of the cedars
<0730 >erez >, and he [was] strong <2364 Chuwshah > as the oaks
<0437 >allown >; yet I destroyed <8045 shamad > his fruit <6529

10 Also I brought <5927 <alah > you up from the land <0776
>erets > of Egypt <4714 Mitsrayim >, and led <3212 yalak > you

wilderness <4057 midbar >, to possess <3423 yarash > the land
<0776 >erets > of the Amorite <0567 >Emoriy >.



11 And I raised <6965 quwm > up of your sons <1121 ben > for
prophets <5030 nabiy> >, and of your young <0970 bachuwr > men
for Nazarites <5139 naziyr >. [Is it] not even <0637 > aph > thus
<2063 zo>th >, O ye children <1121 ben > of Israel <3478
Yisra>el >? saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >.



12 But ye gave the Nazarites <5139 naziyr > wine <3196 yayin >

naba> > not.



13 Behold <2009 hinneh >, I am pressed <5781 <uwq > under <8478

14 Therefore the flight <4498 manowc > shall perish < 6> from
the swift <7031 qal >, and the strong <2389 chazaq > shall not

16 And [he that is] courageous among the mighty <1368 gibbowr >

6 Shall a trumpet <7782 showphar > be blown <8628 taqa< > in

15 And I will smite <5221 nakah > the winter <2779 choreph >
house <1004 bayith > with the summer <7019 qayits > house <1004
bayith >; and the houses <1004 bayith > of ivory < 8127 shen >
shall perish <6>, and the great <7227 rab > houses <1004 bayith
> shall have an end <5486 cuwph >, saith <5001 na> am > the LORD

Amos 4



1. Hear <8085 shama< > this <2088 zeh > word < 1697 dabar >, ye
kine <6510 parah > of Bashan <1316 Bashan >, that [are] in the
mountain <2022 har > of Samaria <8111 Shom@rown >, which oppress
