Revelation 1

1. The Revelation <0602> of Jesus <2424> Christ < 5547>, which <3739> God <2316> gave <1325> unto him, to shew <1166> unto his servants <1401> things which < 3739> must <1163> shortly <5034> come <1096> to pass; and he sent <0649> and signified <4591> [it] by his angel < 0032> unto his servant <1401> John <2491>:

2 Who <3739> bare <3140> record <3140> of the word <3056> of God <2316>, and of the testimony <3141> of Jesus <2424> Christ <5547>, and of all <3745> things that he saw <1492>.

3. Blessed <3107> [is] he that readeth <0314>, and they that hear <0191> the words <3056> of this <3588> prophecy <4394>, and keep <5083> those <3588> things which are written <1125> therein <0846>: for the time < 2540> [is] at <1451> hand <1451>.

4 John <2491> to the seven <2033> churches < 1577> which <3588> are in Asia <0773>: Grace <5485> [be] unto you, and peace <1515>, from him which <3588> is, and which <3588> was, and which <3588> is to come <2064>; and from the seven <2033> Spirits <4151> which <3739> are before <1799> his throne <2362>;

5 And from Jesus <2424> Christ <5547>, [who is] the faithful <4103> witness <3144>, [and] the first <4416> begotten <4416> of the dead <3498>, and the prince <0758> of the kings <0935> of the earth <1093>. Unto him that loved <0025> us, and washed <3068> us from our sins <0266> in his own <0848> blood <0129>,

6 And hath made <4160> us kings <0935> and priests <2409> unto God <2316> and his Father <3962>; to him [be] glory <1391> and dominion <2904> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>. Amen <0281>.

7 Behold <2400>, he cometh <2064> with clouds < 3507>; and every <3956> eye <3788> shall see <3700> him, and they [also] which <3748> pierced <1574> him: and all <3956> kindreds <5443> of the earth <1093> shall wail <2875> because <1909> of him. Even <3483> so <3483> , Amen <0281>.

8 I am <1510> Alpha <0001> and Omega <5598>, the beginning <0746> and the ending <5056>, saith <3004> the Lord <2962>, which <3588> is, and which <3588> was, and which <3588> is to come <2064>, the Almighty <3841>.

9. I John <2491>, who <3588> also <2532> am your <5216> brother <0080>, and companion <4791> in tribulation <2347>, and in the kingdom <0932> and patience < 5281> of Jesus <2424> Christ <5547>, was in the isle < 3520> that is called <2564> Patmos <3963>, for the word < 3056> of God <2316>, and for the testimony <3141> of Jesus <2424> Christ <5547>.

10 I was in the Spirit <4151> on <1722> the Lord's <2960> day <2250>, and heard <0191> behind <3694> me a great <3173> voice <5456>, as of a trumpet <4536>,

11 Saying <3004>, I am <1510> Alpha <0001> and Omega <5598>, the first <4413> and the last <2078>: and, What <3739> thou seest <0991>, write <1125> in a book <0975>, and send <3992> [it] unto the seven <2033> churches <1577> which <3588> are in Asia <0773>; unto Ephesus <2181>, and unto Smyrna <4667>, and unto Pergamos < 4010>, and unto Thyatira <2363>, and unto Sardis <4554>, and unto Philadelphia <5359>, and unto Laodicea <2993>.

12 And I turned <1994> to see <0991> the voice < 5456> that spake <2980> with me. And being turned <1994>, I saw <1492> seven <2033> golden <5552> candlesticks < 3087>;

13 And in the midst <3319> of the seven <2033> candlesticks <3087> [one] like <3664> unto the Son <5207> of man <0444>, clothed <1746> with a garment <4158> down to the foot <4158>, and girt <4024> about <4024> the paps <3149> with a golden <5552> girdle <2223>.

14 His head <2776> and [his] hairs <2359> [were] white <3022> like <5616> wool <2053>, as white < 3022> as snow <5510>; and his eyes <3788> [were] as a flame <5395> of fire <4442>;

15 And his feet <4228> like <3664> unto fine brass <5474>, as if they burned <4448> in a furnace <2575>; and his voice <5456> as the sound <5456> of many <4183> waters <5204>.

16 And he had <2192> in his right <1188> hand < 5495> seven <2033> stars <0792>: and out of his mouth < 4750> went <1607> a sharp <3691> twoedged <1366> sword <4501>: and his countenance <3799> [was] as the sun < 2246> shineth <5316> in his strength <1411>.

17 And when <3753> I saw <1492> him, I fell < 4098> at <4314> his feet <4228> as dead <3498>. And he laid <2007> his right <1188> hand <5495> upon me, saying <3004> unto me, Fear <5399> not; I am <1510> the first <4413> and the last <2078>:

18 I [am <1510>] he that liveth <2198>, and was dead <3498>; and, behold <2400>, I am <1510> alive < 2198> for evermore <0165>, Amen <0281>; and have < 2192> the keys <2807> of hell <0086> and of death < 2288>.

19 Write <1125> the things which <3739> thou hast seen <1492>, and the things which <3739> are, and the things which <3739> shall be hereafter <5023>;

20 The mystery <3466> of the seven <2033> stars < 0792> which <3739> thou sawest <1492> in my right < 1188> hand, and the seven <2033> golden <5552> candlesticks <3087>. The seven <2033> stars <0792> are the angels < 0032> of the seven <2033> churches <1577>: and the seven <2033> candlesticks <3087> which <3739> thou sawest < 1492> are the seven <2033> churches <1577>.

Revelation 2

1. Unto the angel <0032> of the church <1577> of Ephesus <2181> write <1125>; These <3592> things saith <3004> he that holdeth <2902> the seven <2033> stars < 0792> in his right <1188> hand, who <3588> walketh < 4043> in the midst <3319> of the seven <2033> golden < 5552> candlesticks <3087>;

2 I know <1492> thy works <2041>, and thy labour <2873>, and thy patience <5281>, and how <3754> thou canst <1410> not bear <0941> them which are evil <2556>: and thou hast tried <3985> them which say <5335> they are apostles <0652>, and are not, and hast found <2147> them liars <5571>:

3 And hast borne <0941>, and hast <2192> patience <5281>, and for my name's <3686> sake hast laboured < 2872>, and hast not fainted <2577>.

4 Nevertheless <0235> I have <2192> [somewhat] against <2596> thee, because <3754> thou hast left <0863> thy first <4413> love <0026>.

5 Remember <3421> therefore <3767> from whence < 4159> thou art fallen <1601>, and repent <3340>, and do < 4160> the first <4413> works <2041>; or <1161> else <1490> I will come <2064> unto thee quickly <5035>, and will remove <2795> thy candlestick <3087> out of his place < 5117>, except <3362> thou repent <3340>.

6 But this <5124> thou hast <2192>, that thou hatest <3404> the deeds <2041> of the Nicolaitans <3531>, which <3739> I also <2504> hate <3404>.

7 He that hath <2192> an ear <3775>, let him hear <0191> what <5101> the Spirit <4151> saith <3004> unto the churches <1577>; To him that overcometh <3528> will I give <1325> to eat <5315> of the tree <3586> of life < 2222>, which <3739> is in the midst <3319> of the paradise <3857> of God <2316>.

8. And unto the angel <0032> of the church <1577> in Smyrna <4668> write <1125>; These <3592> things saith <3004> the first <4413> and the last <2078>, which < 3739> was dead <3498>, and is alive <2198>;

9 I know <1492> thy works <2041>, and tribulation <2347>, and poverty <4432>, (but thou art <1488> rich <4145>) and [I know] the blasphemy <0988> of them which < 3588> say <3004> they are Jews <2453>, and are not, but [are] the synagogue <4864> of Satan <4567>.

10 Fear <5399> none <3367> of those <3588> things which <3739> thou shalt suffer <3958>: behold < 2400>, the devil <1228> shall cast <0906> [some] of you into <1519> prison <5438>, that ye may be tried <3985>; and ye shall have <2192> tribulation <2347> ten <1176> days <2250>: be thou faithful <4103> unto death <2288>, and I will give <1325> thee a crown <4735> of life <2222> .

11 He that hath <2192> an ear <3775>, let him hear <0191> what <5101> the Spirit <4151> saith <3004> unto the churches <1577>; He that overcometh <3528> shall not be hurt <0091> of the second <1208> death <2288>.

12. And to the angel <0032> of the church <1577> in Pergamos <4010> write <1125>; These <3592> things saith <3004> he which hath <2192> the sharp <3691> sword < 4501> with two <1366> edges <1366>;

13 I know <1492> thy works <2041>, and where < 4226> thou dwellest <2730>, [even] where <3699> Satan's < 4567> seat <2362> [is]: and thou holdest <2902> fast my name <3686>, and hast not denied <0720> my faith <4102>, even <2532> in those <3588> days <2250> wherein < 3757> Antipas <0493> [was] my faithful <4103> martyr < 3144>, who <3739> was slain <0615> among <3844> you, where <3699> Satan <4567> dwelleth <2730>.

14 But I have <2192> a few <3641> things against <2596> thee, because <3754> thou hast <2192> there < 1563> them that hold <2902> the doctrine <1322> of Balaam <0903>, who <3739> taught <1321> Balac <0904> to cast <0906> a stumblingblock <4625> before <1799> the children <5207> of Israel <2474>, to eat <5315> things sacrificed <1494> unto idols <1494>, and to commit <4203> fornication <4203>.

15 So <3779> hast <2192> thou also <2532> them that hold <2902> the doctrine <1322> of the Nicolaitans <3531>, which <3739> thing I hate <3404>.

16 Repent <3340>; or <1161> else <1490> I will come <2064> unto thee quickly <5035>, and will fight < 4170> against <3326> them with the sword <4501> of my mouth <4750>.

17 He that hath <2192> an ear <3775>, let him hear <0191> what <5101> the Spirit <4151> saith <3004> unto the churches <1577>; To him that overcometh <3528> will I give <1325> to eat <5315> of the hidden <2928> manna < 3131>, and will give <1325> him a white <3022> stone < 5586>, and in the stone <5586> a new <2537> name < 3686> written <1125>, which <3739> no <3762> man < 3762> knoweth <1097> saving <1508> he that receiveth < 2983> [it].

18. And unto the angel <0032> of the church <1577> in Thyatira <2363> write <1125>; These <3592> things saith <3004> the Son <5207> of God <2316>, who < 3588> hath <2192> his eyes <3788> like <5613> unto a flame <5395> of fire <4442>, and his feet <4228> [are] like <3664> fine brass <5474>;

19 I know <1492> thy works <2041>, and charity < 0026>, and service <1248>, and faith <4102>, and thy patience <5281>, and thy works <2041>; and the last < 2078> [to be] more <4119> than the first <4413>.

20 Notwithstanding <0235> I have <2192> a few < 3641> things against <2596> thee, because <3754> thou sufferest <1439> that woman <1135> Jezebel <2403>, which <3588> calleth <3004> herself <1438> a prophetess < 4398>, to teach <1321> and to seduce <4105> my servants < 1401> to commit <4203> fornication <4203>, and to eat < 5315> things sacrificed <1494> unto idols <1494>.

21 And I gave <1325> her space <5550> to repent < 3340> of her fornication <4202>; and she repented <3340> not.

22 Behold <2400>, I will cast <0906> her into < 1519> a bed <2825>, and them that commit <3431> adultery <3431> with her into <1519> great <3173> tribulation < 2347>, except <3362> they repent <3340> of their deeds < 2041>.

23 And I will kill <0615> her children <5043> with death <2288>; and all <3956> the churches <1577> shall know <1097> that I am <1510> he which <3739> searcheth <2045> the reins <3510> and hearts <2588>: and I will give <1325> unto every <1538> one of you according <2596> to your <5216> works <2041>.

24 But unto you I say <3004>, and unto the rest < 3062> in Thyatira <2363>, as many <3745> as have < 2192> not this <5026> doctrine <1322>, and which < 3748> have not known <1097> the depths <0899> of Satan < 4567>, as they speak <3004>; I will put <0906> upon you none <3367> other <0243> burden <0922>.

25 But that which ye have <2192> [already] hold < 2902> fast till <0891> I come <2240>.

26 And he that overcometh <3528>, and keepeth <5083> my works <2041> unto the end <5056>, to him will I give < 1325> power <1849> over <1909> the nations <1484>:

27 And he shall rule <4165> them with a rod <4464> of iron <4603>; as the vessels <4632> of a potter <2764> shall they be broken <4937> to shivers <4937>: even < 2504> as I received <2983> of my Father <3962>.

28 And I will give <1325> him the morning <4407> star <0792>.

29 He that hath <2192> an ear <3775>, let him hear <0191> what <5101> the Spirit <4151> saith <3004> unto the churches <1577>.

Revelation 3

1. And unto the angel <0032> of the church <1577> in Sardis <4554> write <1125>; These <3592> things saith <3004> he that hath <2192> the seven <2033> Spirits < 4151> of God <2316>, and the seven <2033> stars <0792> ; I know <1492> thy works <2041>, that thou hast <2192> a name <3686> that thou livest <2198>, and art <1488> dead <3498>.

2 Be watchful <1127>, and strengthen <4741> the things which remain <3062>, that are ready <3195> to die < 0599>: for I have not found <2147> thy works <2041> perfect <4137> before <1799> God <2316>.

3 Remember <3421> therefore <3767> how <4459> thou hast received <2983> and heard <0191>, and hold < 5083> fast, and repent <3340>. If <1437> therefore < 3767> thou shalt not watch <1127>, I will come <2240> on <1909> thee as a thief <2812>, and thou shalt not know < 1097> what <4169> hour <5610> I will come <2240> upon thee.

4 Thou hast <2192> a few <3641> names <3686> even <2532> in Sardis <4554> which <3739> have not defiled <3435> their garments <2440>; and they shall walk < 4043> with me in white <3022>: for they are worthy <0514>.

5 He that overcometh <3528>, the same <3778> shall be clothed <4016> in white <3022> raiment <2440>; and I will not blot <1813> out his name <3686> out of the book < 0976> of life <2222>, but I will confess <1843> his name <3686> before <1799> my Father <3962>, and before < 1799> his angels <0032>.

6 He that hath <2192> an ear <3775>, let him hear <0191> what <5101> the Spirit <4151> saith <3004> unto the churches <1577>.

7. And to the angel <0032> of the church <1577> in Philadelphia <5359> write <1125>; These <3592> things saith <3004> he that is holy <0040>, he that is true < 0228>, he that hath <2192> the key <2807> of David < 1138>, he that openeth <0455>, and no <3762> man < 3762> shutteth <2808>; and shutteth <2808>, and no < 3762> man <3762> openeth <0455>;

8 I know <1492> thy works <2041>: behold < 2400>, I have set <1325> before <1799> thee an open < 0455> door <2374>, and no <3762> man <3762> can < 1410> shut <2808> it: for thou hast <2192> a little < 3398> strength <1411>, and hast kept <5083> my word < 3056>, and hast not denied <0720> my name <3686>.

9 Behold <2400>, I will make <1325> them of the synagogue <4864> of Satan <4567>, which <3588> say < 3004> they are Jews <2453>, and are not, but do lie <5574>; behold <2400>, I will make <4160> them to come <2240> and worship <4352> before <1799> thy feet <4228>, and to know <1097> that I have loved <0025> thee.

10 Because <3754> thou hast kept <5083> the word <3056> of my patience <5281>, I also <2504> will keep <5083> thee from the hour <5610> of temptation <3986>, which <3588> shall come <2064> upon all <3650> the world <3625>, to try <3985> them that dwell <2730> upon the earth <1093>.

11 Behold <2400>, I come <2064> quickly <5035> : hold <2902> that fast which <3739> thou hast <2192>, that no <3367> man <3367> take <2983> thy crown < 4735>.

12 Him that overcometh <3528> will I make <4160> a pillar <4769> in the temple <3485> of my God <2316>, and he shall go <1831> no <3364> more <2089> out: and I will write <1125> upon him the name <3686> of my God <2316>, and the name <3686> of the city <4172> of my God <2316>, [which <3588> is] new <2537> Jerusalem <2419>, which < 3588> cometh <2597> down <2597> out of heaven <3772> from my God <2316>: and [I will write upon him] my new <2537> name <3686>.

13 He that hath <2192> an ear <3775>, let him hear <0191> what <5101> the Spirit <4151> saith <3004> unto the churches <1577>.

14. And unto the angel <0032> of the church <1577> of the Laodiceans <2994> write <1125>; These <3592> things saith <3004> the Amen <0281>, the faithful <4103> and true <0228> witness <3144>, the beginning <0746> of the creation <2937> of God <2316>;

15 I know <1492> thy works <2041>, that thou art <1488> neither <3777> cold <5593> nor <3777> hot <2200>: I would <3785> thou wert <1498> cold <5593> or <2228> hot <2200>.

16 So <3779> then because <3754> thou art < 1488> lukewarm <5513>, and neither <3777> cold <5593> nor <3777> hot <2200>, I will <3195> spue <1692> thee out of my mouth <4750>.

17 Because <3754> thou sayest <3004>, I am < 1510> rich <4145>, and increased <4147> with goods < 4147>, and have <2192> need <5532> of nothing <3762>; and knowest <1492> not that thou art <1488> wretched < 5005>, and miserable <1652>, and poor <4434>, and blind < 5185>, and naked <1131>:

18 I counsel <4823> thee to buy <0059> of me gold <5553> tried <4448> in the fire <4442>, that thou mayest be rich <4147>; and white <3022> raiment <2440>, that thou mayest be clothed <4016>, and [that] the shame <0152> of thy nakedness <1132> do not appear <5319>; and anoint < 1472> thine <4675> eyes <3788> with eyesalve <2854>, that thou mayest see <0991>.

19 As many <3745> as I love <5368>, I rebuke < 1651> and chasten <3811>: be zealous <2206> therefore < 3767>, and repent <3340>.

20 Behold <2400>, I stand <2476> at <1909> the door <2374>, and knock <2925>: if <1437> any < 5100> man hear <0191> my voice <5456>, and open <0455> the door <2374>, I will come <1525> in to him, and will sup <1172> with him, and he with me.

21 To him that overcometh <3528> will I grant <1325> to sit <2523> with me in my throne <2362>, even <2504> as I also <2504> overcame <3528>, and am set <2523> down <2523> with my Father <3962> in his throne <2362>.

22 He that hath <2192> an ear <3775>, let him hear <0191> what <5101> the Spirit <4151> saith <3004> unto the churches <1577>.

Revelation 4

1. After <3326> this <5023> I looked <1492>, and, behold <2400>, a door <2374> [was] opened <0455> in heaven <3772>: and the first <4413> voice <5456> which <3739> I heard <0191> [was] as it were of a trumpet < 4536> talking <2980> with me; which said <3004>, Come < 0305> up hither <5602>, and I will shew <1166> thee things which <3739> must <1163> be hereafter <5023>.

2 And immediately <2112> I was in the spirit <4151>: and, behold <2400>, a throne <2362> was set <2749> in heaven <3772>, and [one] sat <2521> on <1909> the throne <2362>.

3 And he that sat <2521> was to look <3706> upon like <3664> a jasper <2393> and a sardine <4555> stone <3037>: and [there was] a rainbow <2463> round <2943> about <2943> the throne <2362>, in sight <3706> like < 3664> unto an emerald <4664>.

4 And round <2943> about <2943> the throne < 2362> [were] four <5064> and twenty <1501> seats < 2362>: and upon the seats <2362> I saw <1492> four < 5064> and twenty <1501> elders <4245> sitting <2521>, clothed <4016> in white <3022> raiment <2440>; and they had <2192> on <1909> their heads <2776> crowns < 4735> of gold <5552>.

5 And out of the throne <2362> proceeded <1607> lightnings <0796> and thunderings <1027> and voices < 5456>: and [there were] seven <2033> lamps <2985> of fire <4442> burning <2545> before <1799> the throne < 2362>, which <3739> are the seven <2033> Spirits < 4151> of God <2316>.

6 And before <1799> the throne <2362> [there was] a sea <2281> of glass <5193> like <3664> unto crystal < 2930>: and in the midst <3319> of the throne <2362>, and round <2943> about <2943> the throne <2362>, [were] four <5064> beasts <2226> full <1073> of eyes <3788> before <1715> and behind <3693>.

7 And the first <4413> beast <2226> [was] like < 3664> a lion <3023>, and the second <1208> beast < 2226> like <3664> a calf <3448>, and the third <5154> beast <2226> had <2192> a face <4383> as a man < 0444>, and the fourth <5067> beast <2226> [was] like < 3664> a flying <4072> eagle <0105>.

8. And the four <5064> beasts <2226> had <2192> each <0303> of them six <1803> wings <4420> about < 2943> [him]; and [they were] full <1073> of eyes <3788> within <2081>: and they rest <0372> not day <2250> and night <3571>, saying <3004>, Holy <0040>, holy < 0040>, holy <0040>, Lord <2962> God <2316> Almighty <3841>, which <3588> was, and is, and is to come <2064>.

9 And when <3752> those <3588> beasts <2226> give <1325> glory <1391> and honour <5092> and thanks <2169> to him that sat <2521> on <1909> the throne < 2362>, who <3588> liveth <2198> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>,

10 The four <5064> and twenty <1501> elders < 4245> fall <4098> down before <1799> him that sat < 2521> on <1909> the throne <2362>, and worship <4352> him that liveth <2198> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>, and cast <0906> their crowns <4735> before <1799> the throne <2362>, saying <3004>,

11 Thou art <1488> worthy <0514>, O Lord < 2962>, to receive <2983> glory <1391> and honour < 5092> and power <1411>: for thou hast created <2936> all <3956> things, and for thy pleasure <2307> they are and were created <2936>.

Revelation 5

1. And I saw <1492> in the right <1188> hand of him that sat <2521> on <1909> the throne <2362> a book < 0975> written <1125> within <2081> and on <1909> the backside <3693>, sealed <2696> with seven <2033> seals <4973>.

2 And I saw <1492> a strong <2478> angel < 0032> proclaiming <2784> with a loud <3173> voice < 5456>, Who <5101> is worthy <0514> to open <0455> the book <0975>, and to loose <3089> the seals <4973> thereof <0846>?

3 And no <3762> man <3762> in heaven <3772>, nor <3761> in earth <1093>, neither <3761> under < 5270> the earth <1093>, was able <1410> to open <0455> the book <0975>, neither <3761> to look <0991> thereon <0846>.

4 And I wept <2799> much <4183>, because < 3754> no <3762> man <3762> was found <2147> worthy <0514> to open <0455> and to read <0314> the book < 0975>, neither <3777> to look <0991> thereon <0846>.

5 And one <1520> of the elders <4245> saith < 3004> unto me, Weep <2799> not: behold <2400>, the Lion < 3023> of the tribe <5443> of Juda <2455>, the Root < 4491> of David <1138>, hath prevailed <3528> to open < 0455> the book <0975>, and to loose <3089> the seven < 2033> seals <4973> thereof <0846>.

6. And I beheld <1492>, and, lo <2400>, in the midst <3319> of the throne <2362> and of the four <5064> beasts <2226>, and in the midst <3319> of the elders < 4245>, stood <2476> a Lamb <0721> as it had been slain < 4969>, having <2192> seven <2033> horns <2768> and seven <2033> eyes <3788>, which <3739> are the seven < 2033> Spirits <4151> of God <2316> sent <0649> forth <0649> into <1519> all <3956> the earth <1093>.

7 And he came <2064> and took <2983> the book < 0975> out of the right <1188> hand of him that sat <2521> upon the throne <2362>.

8 And when <3753> he had taken <2983> the book < 0975>, the four <5064> beasts <2226> and four <5064> [and] twenty <1501> elders <4245> fell <4098> down before <1799> the Lamb <0721>, having <2192> every < 1538> one of them harps <2788>, and golden <5552> vials < 5357> full <1073> of odours <2368>, which <3739> are the prayers <4335> of saints <0040>.

9 And they sung <0103> a new <2537> song < 5603>, saying <3004>, Thou art <1488> worthy <0514> to take <2983> the book <0975>, and to open <0455> the seals <4973> thereof <0846>: for thou wast slain <4969>, and hast redeemed <0059> us to God <2316> by thy blood < 0129> out of every <3956> kindred <5443>, and tongue < 1100>, and people <2992>, and nation <1484>;

10 And hast made <4160> us unto our God <2316> kings <0935> and priests <2409>: and we shall reign < 0936> on <1909> the earth <1093>.

12 Saying <3004> with a loud <3173> voice < 5456>, Worthy <0514> is the Lamb <0721> that was slain < 4969> to receive <2983> power <1411>, and riches < 4149>, and wisdom <4678>, and strength <2479>, and honour <5092>, and glory <1391>, and blessing <2129>.

13 And every <3956> creature <2938> which < 3739> is in heaven <3772>, and on <1722> the earth < 1093>, and under <5270> the earth <1093>, and such as are in the sea <2281>, and all <3956> that are in them, heard < 0191> I saying <3004>, Blessing <2129>, and honour < 5092>, and glory <1391>, and power <2904>, [be] unto him that sitteth <2521> upon the throne <2362>, and unto the Lamb <0721> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>.

14 And the four <5064> beasts <2226> said < 3004>, Amen <0281>. And the four <5064> [and] twenty < 1501> elders <4245> fell <4098> down and worshipped < 4352> him that liveth <2198> for ever <0165> and ever < 0165>.

Revelation 6

1. And I saw <1492> when <3753> the Lamb <0721> opened <0455> one <3391> of the seals <4973>, and I heard <0191>, as it were the noise <5456> of thunder < 1027>, one <1520> of the four <5064> beasts <2226> saying <3004>, Come <2064> and see <0991>.

2 And I saw <1492>, and behold <2400> a white < 3022> horse <2462>: and he that sat <2521> on <1909> him had <2192> a bow <5115>; and a crown <4735> was given <1325> unto him: and he went <1831> forth <1831> conquering <3528>, and to conquer <3528>.

3. And when <3753> he had opened <0455> the second <1208> seal <4973>, I heard <0191> the second < 1208> beast <2226> say <3004>, Come <2064> and see <0991>.

4 And there went <1831> out another <0243> horse <2462> [that was] red <4450>: and [power] was given < 1325> to him that sat <2521> thereon <0846> to take < 2983> peace <1515> from the earth <1093>, and that they should kill <4969> one <0240> another <0240>: and there was given <1325> unto him a great <3173> sword <3162>.

5 And when <3753> he had opened <0455> the third <5154> seal <4973>, I heard <0191> the third <5154> beast <2226> say <3004>, Come <2064> and see < 0991>. And I beheld <1492>, and lo <2400> a black < 3189> horse <2462>; and he that sat <2521> on <1909> him had <2192> a pair <2218> of balances <3976> in his hand <5495>.

6 And I heard <0191> a voice <5456> in the midst <3319> of the four <5064> beasts <2226> say <3004>, A measure <5518> of wheat <4621> for a penny <1220>, and three <5140> measures <5518> of barley <2915> for a penny <1220>; and [see] thou hurt <0091> not the oil < 1637> and the wine <3631>.

7 And when <3753> he had opened <0455> the fourth <5067> seal <4973>, I heard <0191> the voice <5456> of the fourth <5067> beast <2226> say <3004>, Come < 2064> and see <0991>.

8 And I looked <1492>, and behold <2400> a pale < 5515> horse <2462>: and his name <3686> that sat < 2521> on <1883> him was Death <2288>, and Hell <0086> followed <0190> with him. And power <1849> was given < 1325> unto them over <1909> the fourth <5067> part of the earth <1093>, to kill <0615> with sword <4501>, and with hunger <3042>, and with death <2288>, and with the beasts < 2342> of the earth <1093>.

9. And when <3753> he had opened <0455> the fifth <3991> seal <4973>, I saw <1492> under <5270> the altar <2379> the souls <5590> of them that were slain < 4969> for the word <3056> of God <2316>, and for the testimony <3141> which <3739> they held <2192>:

10 And they cried <2896> with a loud <3173> voice <5456>, saying <3004>, How <2193> long <2193>, O Lord <1203>, holy <0040> and true <0228>, dost thou not judge <2919> and avenge <1556> our blood <0129> on < 1909> them that dwell <2730> on <1909> the earth < 1093>?

11 And white <3022> robes <4749> were given < 1325> unto every <1538> one of them; and it was said <4483> unto them, that they should rest <0373> yet <2089> for a little <3398> season <5550>, until <2193> their fellowservants <4889> also <2532> and their brethren < 0080>, that should <3195> be killed <0615> as they [were], should be fulfilled <4137>.

12 And I beheld <1492> when <3753> he had opened <0455> the sixth <1623> seal <4973>, and, lo <2400> , there was a great <3173> earthquake <4578>; and the sun < 2246> became <1096> black <3189> as sackcloth <4526> of hair <5155>, and the moon <4582> became <1096> as blood <0129>;

13 And the stars <0792> of heaven <3772> fell < 4098> unto the earth <1093>, even as a fig <4808> tree < 4808> casteth <0906> her untimely <3653> figs <3653>, when she is shaken <4579> of a mighty <3173> wind <0417>.

14 And the heaven <3772> departed <0673> as a scroll <0975> when it is rolled <1507> together; and every < 3956> mountain <3735> and island <3520> were moved < 2795> out of their places <5117>.

15 And the kings <0935> of the earth <1093>, and the great <3175> men, and the rich <4145> men, and the chief <5506> captains <5506>, and the mighty <1415> men, and every <3956> bondman <1401>, and every <3956> free < 1658> man, hid <2928> themselves <1438> in the dens < 4693> and in the rocks <4073> of the mountains <3735>;

16 And said <3004> to the mountains <3735> and rocks <4073>, Fall <4098> on <1909> us, and hide < 2928> us from the face <4383> of him that sitteth <2521> on <1909> the throne <2362>, and from the wrath <3709> of the Lamb <0721>:

17 For the great <3173> day <2250> of his wrath < 3709> is come <2064>; and who <5101> shall be able < 1410> to stand <2476>?

Revelation 7

1. And after <3326> these <5023> things I saw < 1492> four <5064> angels <0032> standing <2476> on <1909> the four <5064> corners <1137> of the earth < 1093>, holding <2902> the four <5064> winds <0417> of the earth <1093>, that the wind <0417> should not blow < 4154> on <1909> the earth <1093>, nor <3383> on < 1909> the sea <2281>, nor <3383> on <1909> any < 3956> tree <1186>.

2 And I saw <1492> another <0243> angel <0032> ascending <0305> from the east <0395>, having <2192> the seal <4973> of the living <2198> God <2316>: and he cried <2896> with a loud <3173> voice <5456> to the four <5064> angels <0032>, to whom <3739> it was given < 1325> to hurt <0091> the earth <1093> and the sea < 2281>,

3 Saying <3004>, Hurt <0091> not the earth < 1093>, neither <3383> the sea <2281>, nor <3383> the trees <1186>, till <0891> we have sealed <4972> the servants <1401> of our God <2316> in their foreheads < 3359>.

4 And I heard <0191> the number <0706> of them which were sealed <4972>: [and there were] sealed <4972> an hundred <1540> [and] forty <5062> [and] four <5064> thousand <5505> of all <3956> the tribes <5443> of the children <5207> of Israel <2474>.

5 Of the tribe <5443> of Juda <2455> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand <5505>. Of the tribe < 5443> of Reuben <4502> [were] sealed <4972> twelve < 1427> thousand <5505>. Of the tribe <5443> of Gad < 1045> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand < 5505>.

6 Of the tribe <5443> of Aser <0768> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand <5505>. Of the tribe < 5443> of Nepthalim <3508> [were] sealed <4972> twelve < 1427> thousand <5505>. Of the tribe <5443> of Manasses < 3128> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand < 5505>.

7 Of the tribe <5443> of Simeon <4826> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand <5505>. Of the tribe <5443> of Levi <3017> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand <5505>. Of the tribe <5443> of Issachar <2466> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand < 5505>.

8 Of the tribe <5443> of Zabulon <2194> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand <5505>. Of the tribe <5443> of Joseph <2501> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand <5505>. Of the tribe <5443> of Benjamin <0958> [were] sealed <4972> twelve <1427> thousand <5505>.

9 After <3326> this <5023> I beheld <1492>, and, lo <2400>, a great <4183> multitude <3793>, which <3739> no <3762> man <3762> could <1410> number <0705>, of all <3956> nations <1484>, and kindreds < 5443>, and people <2992>, and tongues <1100>, stood < 2476> before <1799> the throne <2362>, and before < 1799> the Lamb <0721>, clothed <4016> with white < 3022> robes <4749>, and palms <5404> in their hands < 5495>;

10 And cried <2896> with a loud <3173> voice < 5456>, saying <3004>, Salvation <4991> to our God < 2316> which <3588> sitteth <2521> upon the throne < 2362>, and unto the Lamb <0721>.

11 And all <3956> the angels <0032> stood < 2476> round <2943> about <2943> the throne <2362>, and [about] the elders <4245> and the four <5064> beasts < 2226>, and fell <4098> before <1799> the throne <2362> on <1909> their faces <4383>, and worshipped <4352> God <2316>,

12 Saying <3004>, Amen <0281>: Blessing <2129> , and glory <1391>, and wisdom <4678>, and thanksgiving < 2169>, and honour <5092>, and power <1411>, and might < 2479>, [be] unto our God <2316> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>. Amen <0281>.

13. And one <1520> of the elders <4245> answered < 0611>, saying <3004> unto me, What <5101> are these < 3778> which <3588> are arrayed <4016> in white <3022> robes <4749>? and whence <4159> came <2064> they?

14 And I said <2046> unto him, Sir <2962>, thou knowest <1492>. And he said <2036> to me, These <3778> are they which came <2064> out of great <3173> tribulation < 2347>, and have washed <4150> their robes <4749>, and made <3021> them white <3021> in the blood <0129> of the Lamb <0721>.

15 Therefore <5124> are they before <1799> the throne <2362> of God <2316>, and serve <3000> him day <2250> and night <3571> in his temple <3485>: and he that sitteth <2521> on <1909> the throne <2362> shall dwell <4637> among <1909> them.

16 They shall hunger <3983> no <3756> more < 2089>, neither <3761> thirst <1372> any <2089> more <2089>; neither <3761> shall the sun <2246> light < 4098> on <1909> them, nor <3761> any <3956> heat < 2738>.

17 For the Lamb <0721> which <3588> is in the midst <3319> of the throne <2362> shall feed <4165> them, and shall lead <3594> them unto living <2198> fountains < 4077> of waters <5204>: and God <2316> shall wipe < 1813> away <1813> all <3956> tears <1144> from their eyes <3788>.

Revelation 8

1. And when <3753> he had opened <0455> the seventh <1442> seal <4973>, there was silence <4602> in heaven <3772> about <5613> the space of half <2256> an hour < 2256>.

2 And I saw <1492> the seven <2033> angels < 0032> which <3739> stood <2476> before <1799> God < 2316>; and to them were given <1325> seven <2033> trumpets <4536>.

3 And another <0243> angel <0032> came <2064> and stood <2476> at <1909> the altar <2379>, having < 2192> a golden <5552> censer <3031>; and there was given <1325> unto him much <4183> incense <2368>, that he should offer <1325> [it] with the prayers <4335> of all < 3956> saints <0040> upon the golden <5552> altar < 2379> which <3588> was before <1799> the throne <2362> .

4 And the smoke <2586> of the incense <2368>, [which came] with the prayers <4335> of the saints <0040>, ascended <0305> up before <1799> God <2316> out of the angel's <0032> hand <5495>.

5 And the angel <0032> took <2983> the censer < 3031>, and filled <1072> it with fire <4442> of the altar <2379>, and cast <0906> [it] into <1519> the earth < 1093>: and there were voices <5456>, and thunderings <1027>, and lightnings <0796>, and an earthquake <4578>.

6 And the seven <2033> angels <0032> which < 3588> had <2192> the seven <2033> trumpets <4536> prepared <2090> themselves <1438> to sound <4537>.

7. The first <4413> angel <0032> sounded <4537> , and there followed <1096> hail <5464> and fire <4442> mingled <3396> with blood <0129>, and they were cast < 0906> upon the earth <1093>: and the third <5154> part of trees <1186> was burnt <2618> up, and all <3956> green <5515> grass <5528> was burnt <2618> up.

8 And the second <1208> angel <0032> sounded < 4537>, and as it were a great <3173> mountain <3735> burning <2545> with fire <4442> was cast <0906> into < 1519> the sea <2281>: and the third <5154> part of the sea <2281> became <1096> blood <0129>;

9 And the third <5154> part of the creatures <2938> which <3588> were in the sea <2281>, and had <2192> life <5590>, died <0599>; and the third <5154> part of the ships <4143> were destroyed <1311>.

10 And the third <5154> angel <0032> sounded < 4537>, and there fell <4098> a great <3173> star < 0792> from heaven <3772>, burning <2545> as it were a lamp <2985>, and it fell <4098> upon the third <5154> part of the rivers <4215>, and upon the fountains <4077> of waters < 5204>;

11 And the name <3686> of the star <0792> is called <3004> Wormwood <0894>: and the third <5154> part of the waters <5204> became <1519> wormwood <0894>; and many <4183> men <0444> died <0599> of the waters <5204>, because <3754> they were made <4087> bitter <4087>.

12 And the fourth <5067> angel <0032> sounded < 4537>, and the third <5154> part of the sun <2246> was smitten <4141>, and the third <5154> part of the moon < 4582>, and the third <5154> part of the stars <0792>; so <2443> as the third <5154> part of them was darkened < 4654>, and the day <2250> shone <5316> not for a third < 5154> part of it, and the night <3571> likewise <3668>.

13 And I beheld <1492>, and heard <0191> an angel <0032> flying <4072> through <1722> the midst < 3321> of heaven <3321>, saying <3004> with a loud < 3173> voice <5456>, Woe <3759>, woe <3759>, woe < 3759>, to the inhabiters <2730> of the earth <1093> by reason <1537> of the other <3062> voices <5456> of the trumpet <4536> of the three <5140> angels <0032>, which <3588> are yet <3195> to sound <4537>!

Revelation 9

1. And the fifth <3991> angel <0032> sounded < 4537>, and I saw <1492> a star <0792> fall <4098> from heaven <3772> unto the earth <1093>: and to him was given <1325> the key <2807> of the bottomless <0012> pit < 5421>.

2 And he opened <0455> the bottomless <0012> pit <5421>; and there arose <0305> a smoke <2586> out of the pit <5421>, as the smoke <2586> of a great <3173> furnace <2575>; and the sun <2246> and the air <0109> were darkened <4654> by reason <1537> of the smoke <2586> of the pit <5421>.

3 And there came <1831> out of the smoke <2586> locusts <0200> upon the earth <1093>: and unto them was given <1325> power <1849>, as the scorpions <4651> of the earth <1093> have <2192> power <1849>.

4 And it was commanded <4483> them that they should not hurt <0091> the grass <5528> of the earth <1093>, neither any <3956> green <5515> thing, neither any <3956> tree <1186>; but only <3441> those <3588> men < 0444> which <3748> have <2192> not the seal <4973> of God <2316> in their foreheads <3359>.

5 And to them it was given <1325> that they should not kill <0615> them, but that they should be tormented <0928> five <4002> months <3376>: and their torment <0929> [was] as the torment <0929> of a scorpion <4651>, when < 3752> he striketh <3817> a man <0444>.

6 And in those <1565> days <2250> shall men < 0444> seek <2212> death <2288>, and shall not find < 2147> it; and shall desire <1937> to die <0599>, and death <2288> shall flee <5343> from them.

7 And the shapes <3667> of the locusts <0200> [were] like <3664> unto horses <2462> prepared <2090> unto battle <4171>; and on <1909> their heads <2776> [were] as it were crowns <4735> like <3664> gold <5557>, and their faces <4383> [were] as the faces <4383> of men < 0444>.

8 And they had <2192> hair <2359> as the hair < 2359> of women <1135>, and their teeth <3599> were as [the teeth] of lions <3023>.

9 And they had <2192> breastplates <2382>, as it were breastplates <2382> of iron <4603>; and the sound < 5456> of their wings <4420> [was] as the sound <5456> of chariots <0716> of many <4183> horses <2462> running < 5143> to battle <4171>.

10 And they had <2192> tails <3769> like < 3664> unto scorpions <4651>, and there were stings <2759> in their tails <3769>: and their power <1849> [was] to hurt <0091> men <0444> five <4002> months <3376>.

11 And they had <2192> a king <0935> over < 1909> them, [which is] the angel <0032> of the bottomless < 0012> pit, whose <0846> name <3686> in the Hebrew < 1447> tongue <1447> [is] Abaddon <0003>, but in the Greek <1673> tongue hath <2192> [his] name <3686> Apollyon < 0623>.

12 One <3391> woe <3759> is past <0565>; [and], behold <2400>, there come <2064> two <1417> woes <3759> more <2089> hereafter <5023>.

13. And the sixth <1623> angel <0032> sounded < 4537>, and I heard <0191> a voice <5456> from the four < 5064> horns <2768> of the golden <5552> altar <2379> which <3588> is before <1799> God <2316>,

14 Saying <3004> to the sixth <1623> angel which <3739> had <2192> the trumpet <4536>, Loose <3089> the four <5064> angels <0032> which <3588> are bound < 1210> in the great <3173> river <4215> Euphrates < 2166>.

15 And the four <5064> angels <0032> were loosed <3089>, which <3588> were prepared <2090> for an hour <5610>, and a day <2250>, and a month <3376>, and a year <1763>, for to slay <0615> the third <5154> part of men <0444>.

16 And the number <0706> of the army <4753> of the horsemen <2461> [were] two <1417> hundred <3461> thousand <3461> thousand <3461>: and I heard <0191> the number <0706> of them.

17 And thus <3779> I saw <1492> the horses < 2462> in the vision <3706>, and them that sat <2521> on < 1909> them, having <2192> breastplates <2382> of fire < 4447>, and of jacinth <5191>, and brimstone <2306>: and the heads <2776> of the horses <2462> [were] as the heads < 2776> of lions <3023>; and out of their mouths <4750> issued <1607> fire <4442> and smoke <2586> and brimstone <2303>.

18 By these <5103> three <5140> was the third < 5154> part of men <0444> killed <0615>, by the fire < 4442>, and by the smoke <2586>, and by the brimstone <2303>, which <3588> issued <1607> out of their mouths <4750>.

19 For their power <1849> is in their mouth <4750>, and in their tails <3769>: for their tails <3769> [were] like <3664> unto serpents <3789>, and had <2192> heads < 2776>, and with them they do hurt <0091>.

20 And the rest <3062> of the men <0444> which < 3739> were not killed <0615> by these <5025> plagues < 4127> yet repented <3340> not of the works <2041> of their hands <5495>, that they should not worship <4352> devils < 1140>, and idols <1497> of gold <5552>, and silver < 0693>, and brass <5470>, and stone <3035>, and of wood < 3585>: which <3739> neither <3777> can <1410> see < 0991>, nor <3777> hear <0191>, nor <3777> walk < 4043>:

21 Neither <3756> repented <3340> they of their murders <5408>, nor <3777> of their sorceries <5331>, nor <3777> of their fornication <4202>, nor <3777> of their thefts <2809>.

Revelation 10

1. And I saw <1492> another <0243> mighty < 2478> angel <0032> come <2597> down <2597> from heaven <3772>, clothed <4016> with a cloud <3507>: and a rainbow <2463> [was] upon his head <2776>, and his face < 4383> [was] as it were the sun <2246>, and his feet <4228> as pillars <4769> of fire <4442>:

2 And he had <2192> in his hand <5495> a little < 0974> book <0974> open <0455>: and he set <5087> his right <1188> foot <4228> upon the sea <2281>, and [his] left <2176> [foot] on <1909> the earth <1093>,

3 And cried <2896> with a loud <3173> voice < 5456>, as [when] a lion <3023> roareth <3455>: and when < 3753> he had cried <2896>, seven <2033> thunders < 1027> uttered <2980> their voices <5456>.

4 And when <3753> the seven <2033> thunders < 1027> had uttered <2980> their voices <5456>, I was about <3195> to write <1125>: and I heard <0191> a voice < 5456> from heaven <3772> saying <3004> unto me, Seal < 4972> up those things which <3739> the seven <2033> thunders <1027> uttered <2980>, and write <1125> them not.

5 And the angel <0032> which <3739> I saw < 1492> stand <2476> upon the sea <2281> and upon the earth <1093> lifted <0142> up his hand <5495> to heaven < 3772>,

6 And sware <3660> by him that liveth <2198> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>, who created <2936> heaven <3772>, and the things that therein <0846> are, and the earth <1093>, and the things that therein <0846> are, and the sea <2281>, and the things which are therein <0846>, that there should be time <5550> no <3756> longer <2089>:

7 But in the days <2250> of the voice <5456> of the seventh <1442> angel <0032>, when <3752> he shall begin <3195> to sound <4537>, the mystery <3466> of God < 2316> should be finished <5055>, as he hath declared <2097> to his servants <1401> the prophets <4396>.

8. And the voice <5456> which <3739> I heard < 0191> from heaven <3772> spake <2980> unto me again < 3825>, and said <3004>, Go <5217> [and] take <2983> the little <0974> book <0974> which <3588> is open < 0455> in the hand <5495> of the angel <0032> which < 3588> standeth <2476> upon the sea <2281> and upon the earth <1093>.

9 And I went <0565> unto the angel <0032>, and said <3004> unto him, Give <1325> me the little <0974> book <0974>. And he said <3004> unto me, Take <2983> [it], and eat <2719> it up; and it shall make <4087> thy belly < 2836> bitter <4087>, but it shall be in thy mouth <4750> sweet <1099> as honey <3192>.

10 And I took <2983> the little <0974> book < 0974> out of the angel's <0032> hand <5495>, and ate < 2719> it up; and it was in my mouth <4750> sweet <1099> as honey <3192>: and as soon <3753> as I had eaten <5315> it, my belly <2836> was bitter <4087>.

11 And he said <3004> unto me, Thou must <1163> prophesy <4395> again <3825> before <1909> many < 4183> peoples <2992>, and nations <1484>, and tongues < 1100>, and kings <0935>.

Revelation 11

1. And there was given <1325> me a reed <2563> like <3664> unto a rod <4464>: and the angel <0032> stood < 2476>, saying <3004>, Rise <1453>, and measure <3354> the temple <3485> of God <2316>, and the altar <2379>, and them that worship <4352> therein <0846>.

2 But the court <0833> which <3588> is without < 1855> the temple <3485> leave <1544> out, and measure < 3354> it not; for it is given <1325> unto the Gentiles < 1484>: and the holy <0040> city <4172> shall they tread < 3961> under foot forty <5062> [and] two <1417> months < 3376>.

3. And I will give <1325> [power] unto my two <1417> witnesses <3144>, and they shall prophesy <4395> a thousand <5507> two <1250> hundred <1250> [and] threescore < 1835> days <2250>, clothed <4016> in sackcloth <4526>.

4 These <3778> are the two <1417> olive <1636> trees, and the two <1417> candlesticks <3087> standing < 2476> before <1799> the God <2316> of the earth <1093> .

5 And if <1487> any <1536> man will <2309> hurt <0091> them, fire <4442> proceedeth <1607> out of their mouth <4750>, and devoureth <2719> their enemies < 2190>: and if <1487> any <1536> man will <2309> hurt <0091> them, he must <1163> in this <3779> manner < 3779> be killed <0615>.

6 These <3778> have <2192> power <1849> to shut <2808> heaven <3772>, that it rain <5205> not in the days <2250> of their prophecy <4394>: and have <2192> power <1849> over <1909> waters <5204> to turn < 4672> them to blood <0129>, and to smite <3960> the earth <1093> with all <3956> plagues <4127>, as often < 3740> as they will <2309>.

7 And when <3752> they shall have finished <5055> their testimony <3141>, the beast <2342> that ascendeth < 0305> out of the bottomless <0012> pit shall make <4160> war <4171> against <3326> them, and shall overcome <3528> them, and kill <0615> them.

8 And their dead <4430> bodies <4430> [shall lie] in the street <4113> of the great <3173> city <4172>, which <3748> spiritually <4153> is called <2564> Sodom <4670> and Egypt <0125>, where <3699> also <2532> our Lord <2962> was crucified <4717>.

9 And they of the people <2992> and kindreds <5443> and tongues <1100> and nations <1484> shall see <0991> their dead <4430> bodies <4430> three <5140> days < 2250> and an half <2255>, and shall not suffer <0863> their dead <4430> bodies <4430> to be put <5087> in graves < 3418>.

10 And they that dwell <2730> upon the earth <1093> shall rejoice <5463> over <1909> them, and make <2165> merry <2165>, and shall send <3992> gifts <1435> one < 0240> to another <0240>; because <3754> these <3778> two <1417> prophets <4396> tormented <0928> them that dwelt <2730> on <1909> the earth <1093>.

11 And after <3326> three <5140> days <2250> and an half <2255> the Spirit <4151> of life <2222> from God <2316> entered <1525> into <1909> them, and they stood <2476> upon their feet <4228>; and great <3173> fear <5401> fell <4098> upon them which saw <2334> them.

12 And they heard <0191> a great <3173> voice < 5456> from heaven <3772> saying <3004> unto them, Come < 0305> up hither <5602>. And they ascended <0305> up to heaven <3772> in a cloud <3507>; and their enemies <2190> beheld <2334> them.

13 And the same <1565> hour <5610> was there a great <3173> earthquake <4578>, and the tenth <1182> part of the city <4172> fell <4098>, and in the earthquake < 4578> were slain <0615> of men <0444> seven <2033> thousand <5505>: and the remnant <3062> were affrighted < 1719>, and gave <1325> glory <1391> to the God <2316> of heaven <3772>.

14. The second <1208> woe <3759> is past <0565> ; [and], behold <2400>, the third <5154> woe <3759> cometh <2064> quickly <5035>.

15 And the seventh <1442> angel <0032> sounded < 4537>; and there were great <3173> voices <5456> in heaven <3772>, saying <3004>, The kingdoms <0932> of this < 5026> world <2889> are become <1096> [the kingdoms < 0932>] of our Lord <2962>, and of his Christ <5547>; and he shall reign <0936> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>.

16 And the four <5064> and twenty <1501> elders < 4245>, which <3588> sat <2521> before <1799> God < 2316> on <1909> their seats <2362>, fell <4098> upon their faces <4383>, and worshipped <4352> God <2316>,

17 Saying <3004>, We give thee thanks <2168>, O Lord <2962> God <2316> Almighty <3841>, which < 3588> art <5607>, and wast <2258>, and art to come < 2064>; because <3754> thou hast taken <2983> to thee thy great <3173> power <1411>, and hast reigned <0936>.

18 And the nations <1484> were angry <3710>, and thy wrath <3709> is come <2064>, and the time <2540> of the dead <3498>, that they should be judged <2919>, and that thou shouldest give <1325> reward <3408> unto thy servants < 1401> the prophets <4396>, and to the saints <0040>, and them that fear <5399> thy name <3686>, small <3398> and great <3173>; and shouldest destroy <1311> them which destroy <1311> the earth <1093>.

19 And the temple <3485> of God <2316> was opened <0455> in heaven <3772>, and there was seen <3700> in his temple <3485> the ark <2787> of his testament <1242>: and there were lightnings <0796>, and voices <5456>, and thunderings <1027>, and an earthquake <4578>, and great < 3173> hail <5464>.

Revelation 12

1. And there appeared <3700> a great <3173> wonder <4592> in heaven <3772>; a woman <1135> clothed < 4016> with the sun <2246>, and the moon <4582> under < 5270> her feet <4228>, and upon her head <2776> a crown < 4735> of twelve <1427> stars <0792>:

2 And she being <2192> with child <1064> cried < 2896>, travailing <5605> in birth <5605>, and pained < 0928> to be delivered <5088>.

3 And there appeared <3700> another <0243> wonder <4592> in heaven <3772>; and behold <2400> a great < 3173> red <4450> dragon <1404>, having <2192> seven <2033> heads <2776> and ten <1176> horns <2768>, and seven <2033> crowns <1238> upon his heads <2776>.

4 And his tail <3769> drew <4951> the third < 5154> part of the stars <0792> of heaven <3772>, and did cast <0906> them to the earth <1093>: and the dragon < 1404> stood <2476> before <1799> the woman <1135> which <3588> was ready <3195> to be delivered <5088>, for to devour <2719> her child <5043> as soon <3752> as it was born <5088>.

5 And she brought <5088> forth <5088> a man < 0730> child <5207>, who <3739> was to rule <4165> all <3956> nations <1484> with a rod <4464> of iron < 4603>: and her child <5043> was caught <0726> up unto God <2316>, and [to] his throne <2362>.

6 And the woman <1135> fled <5343> into <1519> the wilderness <2048>, where <3699> she hath <2192> a place <5117> prepared <2090> of God <2316>, that they should feed <5142> her there <1563> a thousand <5507> two <1417> hundred <1250> [and] threescore <1835> days <2250>.

7 And there was war <4171> in heaven <3772>: Michael <3413> and his angels <0032> fought <4170> against <2596> the dragon <1404>; and the dragon <1404> fought <4170> and his angels <0032>,

8 And prevailed <2480> not; neither <3777> was their place <5117> found <2147> any <2089> more < 2089> in heaven <3772>.

9 And the great <3173> dragon <1404> was cast < 0906> out, that old <0744> serpent <3789>, called < 2564> the Devil <1228>, and Satan <4567>, which <3588> deceiveth <4105> the whole <3650> world <3625>: he was cast <0906> out into <1519> the earth <1093>, and his angels <0032> were cast <0906> out with him.

10 And I heard <0191> a loud <3173> voice < 5456> saying <3004> in heaven <3772>, Now <0737> is come <1096> salvation <4991>, and strength <1411>, and the kingdom <0932> of our God <2316>, and the power < 1849> of his Christ <5547>: for the accuser <2723> of our brethren <0080> is cast <2598> down <2598>, which < 3588> accused <2725> them before <1799> our God <2316> day <2250> and night <3571>.

11 And they overcame <3528> him by the blood <0129> of the Lamb <0721>, and by the word <3056> of their testimony <3141>; and they loved <0025> not their lives <5590> unto the death <2288>.

12. Therefore <5124> rejoice <2165>, [ye] heavens <3772>, and ye that dwell <4637> in them. Woe <3759> to the inhabiters <2730> of the earth <1093> and of the sea < 2281>! for the devil <1228> is come <2597> down <2597> unto you, having <2192> great <3173> wrath <2372>, because he knoweth <1492> that he hath <2192> but a short < 3641> time <2540>.

13 And when <3753> the dragon <1404> saw < 1492> that he was cast <0906> unto the earth <1093>, he persecuted <1377> the woman <1135> which <3748> brought <5088> forth <5088> the man <0730> [child].

14 And to the woman <1135> were given <1325> two <1417> wings <4420> of a great <3173> eagle <0105>, that she might fly <4072> into <1519> the wilderness < 2048>, into <1519> her place <5117>, where <3699> she is nourished <5142> for a time <2540>, and times <2540>, and half <2255> a time <2540>, from the face <4383> of the serpent <3789>.

15 And the serpent <3789> cast <0906> out of his mouth <4750> water <5204> as a flood <4215> after < 3694> the woman <1135>, that he might cause <4160> her to be carried <4216> away of the flood <4216>.

16 And the earth <1093> helped <0997> the woman < 1135>, and the earth <1093> opened <0455> her mouth < 4750>, and swallowed <2666> up the flood <4215> which < 3739> the dragon <1404> cast <0906> out of his mouth < 4750>.

17 And the dragon <1404> was wroth <3710> with the woman <1135>, and went <0565> to make <4160> war < 4171> with the remnant <3062> of her seed <4690>, which < 3588> keep <5083> the commandments <1785> of God < 2316>, and have <2192> the testimony <3141> of Jesus < 2424> Christ <5547>.

Revelation 13

1. And I stood <2476> upon the sand <0285> of the sea <2281>, and saw <1492> a beast <2342> rise < 0305> up out of the sea <2281>, having <2192> seven < 2033> heads <2776> and ten <1176> horns <2768>, and upon his horns <2768> ten <1176> crowns <1238>, and upon his heads <2776> the name <3686> of blasphemy <0988>.

2 And the beast <2342> which <3739> I saw < 1492> was like <3664> unto a leopard <3917>, and his feet <4228> were as [the feet <4228>] of a bear <0715>, and his mouth <4750> as the mouth <4750> of a lion <3023>: and the dragon <1404> gave <1325> him his power <1411>, and his seat <2362>, and great <3173> authority <1849>.

3 And I saw <1492> one <3391> of his heads < 2776> as it were wounded <4969> to death <2288>; and his deadly <2288> wound <4127> was healed <2323>: and all <3650> the world <1093> wondered <1839> after < 3694> the beast <2342>.

4 And they worshipped <4352> the dragon <1404> which <3739> gave <1325> power <1849> unto the beast < 2342>: and they worshipped <4352> the beast <2342>, saying <3004>, Who <5101> [is] like <3664> unto the beast < 2342>? who <5101> is able <1410> to make <4170> war <4170> with him?

5 And there was given <1325> unto him a mouth <4750> speaking <2980> great <3173> things and blasphemies < 0988>; and power <1849> was given <1325> unto him to continue <4160> forty <5062> [and] two <1417> months < 3376>.

6 And he opened <0455> his mouth <4750> in blasphemy <0988> against <4314> God <2316>, to blaspheme <0987> his name <3686>, and his tabernacle <4633>, and them that dwell <4637> in heaven <3772>.

7 And it was given <1325> unto him to make <4160> war <4171> with the saints <0040>, and to overcome <3528> them: and power <1849> was given <1325> him over <1909> all <3956> kindreds <5443>, and tongues <1100>, and nations <1484>.

8 And all <3956> that dwell <2730> upon the earth <1093> shall worship <4352> him, whose <3739> names < 3686> are not written <1125> in the book <0976> of life < 2222> of the Lamb <0721> slain <4969> from the foundation <2602> of the world <2889>.

9 If <1487> any <1536> man have <2192> an ear <3775>, let him hear <0191>.

10 He that leadeth <4863> into captivity <0161> shall go <5217> into <1519> captivity <0161>: he that killeth <0615> with the sword <3162> must <1163> be killed <0615> with the sword <3162>. Here <5602> is the patience <5281> and the faith <4102> of the saints <0040> .

11. And I beheld <1492> another <0243> beast < 2342> coming <0305> up out of the earth <1093>; and he had <2192> two <1417> horns <2768> like <3664> a lamb <0721>, and he spake <2980> as a dragon <1404>.

12 And he exerciseth <4160> all <3956> the power <1849> of the first <4413> beast <2342> before < 1799> him, and causeth <4160> the earth <1093> and them which dwell <2730> therein <0846> to worship <4352> the first <4413> beast <2342>, whose <3739> deadly < 2288> wound <4127> was healed <2323>.

13 And he doeth <4160> great <3173> wonders < 4592>, so <2443> that he maketh <4160> fire <4442> come <2597> down <2597> from heaven <3772> on < 1519> the earth <1093> in the sight <1799> of men < 0444>,

14 And deceiveth <4105> them that dwell <2730> on <1909> the earth <1093> by [the means of] those <3588> miracles <4592> which <3739> he had power <1325> to do <4160> in the sight <1799> of the beast <2342>; saying <3004> to them that dwell <2730> on <1909> the earth < 1093>, that they should make <4160> an image <1504> to the beast <2342>, which <3739> had <2192> the wound < 4127> by a sword <3162>, and did live <2198>.

15 And he had power <1325> to give <1325> life < 4151> unto the image <1504> of the beast <2342>, that the image <1504> of the beast <2342> should both <2532> speak <2980>, and cause <4160> that as many <3745> as would not worship <4352> the image <1504> of the beast < 2342> should be killed <0615>.

16 And he causeth <4160> all <3956>, both small < 3398> and great <3173>, rich <4145> and poor <4434>, free <1658> and bond <1401>, to receive <1325> a mark <5480> in their right <1188> hand <5495>, or <2228> in their foreheads <3359>:

17 And that no <3361> man <5100> might <1410> buy <0059> or <2228> sell <4453>, save <1508> he that had <2192> the mark <5480>, or <2228> the name < 3686> of the beast <2342>, or <2228> the number <0706> of his name <3686>.

18 Here <5602> is wisdom <4678>. Let him that hath <2192> understanding <3563> count <5585> the number < 0706> of the beast <2342>: for it is the number <0706> of a man <0444>; and his number <0706> [is] Six <1803> hundred <1812> threescore <1835> [and] six <1803>.

Revelation 14

1. And I looked <1492>, and, lo <2400>, a Lamb < 0721> stood <2476> on <1909> the mount <3735> Sion <4622>, and with him an hundred <1540> forty <5062> [and] four <5064> thousand <5505>, having <2192> his Father's <3962> name <3686> written <1125> in their foreheads <3359>.

2 And I heard <0191> a voice <5456> from heaven < 3772>, as the voice <5456> of many <4183> waters < 5204>, and as the voice <5456> of a great <3173> thunder <1027>: and I heard <0191> the voice <5456> of harpers <2790> harping <2789> with their harps <2788>:

3 And they sung <0103> as it were a new <2537> song <5603> before <1799> the throne <2362>, and before < 1799> the four <5064> beasts <2226>, and the elders < 4245>: and no <3762> man <3762> could <1410> learn <3129> that song <5603> but the hundred <1540> [and] forty <5062> [and] four <5064> thousand <5505>, which <3588> were redeemed <0059> from the earth <1093>.

4 These <3778> are they which <3739> were not defiled <3435> with women <1135>; for they are virgins < 3933>. These <3778> are they which <3588> follow < 0190> the Lamb <0721> whithersoever <0302> he goeth < 5217>. These <3778> were redeemed <0059> from among men < 0444>, [being] the firstfruits <0536> unto God <2316> and to the Lamb <0721>.

5 And in their mouth <4750> was found <2147> no < 3756> guile <1388>: for they are without <0299> fault < 0299> before <1799> the throne <2362> of God <2316>.

6. And I saw <1492> another <0243> angel <0032> fly <4072> in the midst <3321> of heaven <3321>, having <2192> the everlasting <0166> gospel <2098> to preach <2097> unto them that dwell <2730> on <1909> the earth <1093>, and to every <3956> nation <1484>, and kindred <5443>, and tongue <1100>, and people <2992>,

7 Saying <3004> with a loud <3173> voice < 5456>, Fear <5399> God <2316>, and give <1325> glory <1391> to him; for the hour <5610> of his judgment <2920> is come <2064>: and worship <4352> him that made <4160> heaven <3772>, and earth <1093>, and the sea <2281>, and the fountains <4077> of waters <5204>.

8 And there followed <0190> another <0243> angel <0032>, saying <3004>, Babylon <0897> is fallen < 4098>, is fallen <4098>, that great <3173> city <4172> , because <3754> she made <4222> all <3956> nations < 1484> drink <4222> of the wine <3631> of the wrath < 2372> of her fornication <4202>.

9 And the third <5154> angel <0032> followed < 0190> them, saying <3004> with a loud <3173> voice < 5456>, If <1487> any <1536> man worship <4352> the beast <2342> and his image <1504>, and receive <2983> [his] mark <5480> in his forehead <3359>, or <2228> in his hand <5495>,

10 The same <0846> shall drink <4095> of the wine <3631> of the wrath <2372> of God <2316>, which < 3588> is poured <2767> out without <0194> mixture < 0194> into <1722> the cup <4221> of his indignation < 3709>; and he shall be tormented <0928> with fire <4442> and brimstone <2303> in the presence <1799> of the holy < 0040> angels <0032>, and in the presence <1799> of the Lamb <0721>:

11 And the smoke <2586> of their torment <0929> ascendeth <0305> up for ever <0165> and ever <0165>: and they have <2192> no <3756> rest <0372> day <2250> nor <2532> night <3571>, who <3588> worship <4352> the beast <2342> and his image <1504>, and whosoever < 3156> receiveth <2983> the mark <5480> of his name < 3686>.

12 Here <5602> is the patience <5281> of the saints <0040>: here <5602> [are] they that keep <5083> the commandments <1785> of God <2316>, and the faith <4102> of Jesus <2424>.

13. And I heard <0191> a voice <5456> from heaven <3772> saying <3004> unto me, Write <1125>, Blessed < 3107> [are] the dead <3498> which <3588> die <0599> in the Lord <2962> from henceforth <0534>: Yea <3483>, saith <3004> the Spirit <4151>, that they may rest <0373> from their labours <2873>; and their works <2041> do follow <0190> them.

14 And I looked <1492>, and behold <2400> a white <3022> cloud <3507>, and upon the cloud <3507> [one] sat <2521> like <3664> unto the Son <5207> of man < 0444>, having <2192> on <1909> his head <2776> a golden <5552> crown <4735>, and in his hand <5495> a sharp <3691> sickle <1407>.

15 And another <0243> angel <0032> came <1831> out of the temple <3485>, crying <2896> with a loud < 3173> voice <5456> to him that sat <2521> on <1909> the cloud <3507>, Thrust <3992> in thy sickle <1407>, and reap <2325>: for the time <5610> is come <2064> for thee to reap <2325>; for the harvest <2326> of the earth < 1093> is ripe <3583>.

16 And he that sat <2521> on <1909> the cloud < 3507> thrust <0906> in his sickle <1407> on <1909> the earth <1093>; and the earth <1093> was reaped <2325>.

17 And another <0243> angel <0032> came <1831> out of the temple <3485> which <3588> is in heaven < 3772>, he also <2532> having <2192> a sharp <3691> sickle <1407>.

18 And another <0243> angel <0032> came <1831> out from the altar <2379>, which had <2192> power <1849> over <1909> fire <4442>; and cried <5455> with a loud <3173> cry <2906> to him that had <2192> the sharp < 3691> sickle <1407>, saying <3004>, Thrust <3992> in thy sharp <3691> sickle <1407>, and gather <5166> the clusters <1009> of the vine <0288> of the earth <1093>; for her grapes <4718> are fully ripe <0187>.

19 And the angel <0032> thrust <0906> in his sickle <1407> into <1519> the earth <1093>, and gathered < 5166> the vine <0288> of the earth <1093>, and cast < 0906> [it] into <1519> the great <3173> winepress < 3025> of the wrath <2372> of God <2316>.

20 And the winepress <3025> was trodden <3961> without <1854> the city <4172>, and blood <0129> came <1831> out of the winepress <3025>, even unto the horse < 2462> bridles <5469>, by the space <0575> of a thousand < 5507> [and] six <1812> hundred <1812> furlongs <4712>.

Revelation 15

1. And I saw <1492> another <0243> sign <4592> in heaven <3772>, great <3173> and marvellous <2298>, seven <2033> angels <0032> having <2192> the seven < 2033> last <2078> plagues <4127>; for in them is filled < 5055> up the wrath <2372> of God <2316>.

2 And I saw <1492> as it were a sea <2281> of glass <5193> mingled <3396> with fire <4442>: and them that had gotten the victory <3528> over <1537> the beast < 2342>, and over <1537> his image <1504>, and over < 1537> his mark <5480>, [and] over <1537> the number < 0706> of his name <3686>, stand <2476> on <1909> the sea <2281> of glass <5193>, having <2192> the harps < 2788> of God <2316>.

3 And they sing <0103> the song <5603> of Moses < 3475> the servant <1401> of God <2316>, and the song < 5603> of the Lamb <0721>, saying <3004>, Great <3173> and marvellous <2298> [are] thy works <2041>, Lord <2962> God <2316> Almighty <3841>; just <1342> and true < 0228> [are] thy ways <3598>, thou King <0935> of saints < 0040>.

4 Who <5101> shall not fear <5399> thee, O Lord < 2962>, and glorify <1392> thy name <3686>? for [thou] only <3441> [art] holy <3741>: for all <3956> nations < 1484> shall come <2240> and worship <4352> before < 1799> thee; for thy judgments <1345> are made <5319> manifest <5319>.

5. And after <3326> that I looked <1492>, and, behold <2400>, the temple <3485> of the tabernacle <4633> of the testimony <3142> in heaven <3772> was opened < 0455>:

6 And the seven <2033> angels <0032> came < 1831> out of the temple <3485>, having <2192> the seven < 2033> plagues <4127>, clothed <1746> in pure <2513> and white <2986> linen <3043>, and having <2192> their breasts <4738> girded <4024> with golden <5552> girdles <2223>.

7 And one <1520> of the four <5064> beasts < 2226> gave <1325> unto the seven <2033> angels <0032> seven <2033> golden <5552> vials <5357> full <1073> of the wrath <2372> of God <2316>, who <3588> liveth <2198> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>.

8 And the temple <3485> was filled <1072> with smoke <2586> from the glory <1391> of God <2316>, and from his power <1411>; and no <3762> man <3762> was able <1410> to enter <1525> into <1519> the temple < 3485>, till <0891> the seven <2033> plagues <4127> of the seven <2033> angels <0032> were fulfilled <5055>.

Revelation 16

1. And I heard <0191> a great <3173> voice < 5456> out of the temple <3485> saying <3004> to the seven <2033> angels <0032>, Go <5217> your ways, and pour < 1632> out the vials <5357> of the wrath <2372> of God < 2316> upon the earth <1093>.

2 And the first <4413> went <0565>, and poured < 1632> out his vial <5357> upon the earth <1093>; and there fell <1096> a noisome <2556> and grievous <4190> sore <1668> upon the men <0444> which <3588> had <2192> the mark <5480> of the beast <2342>, and [upon] them which worshipped <4352> his image <1504>.

3 And the second <1208> angel <0032> poured < 1632> out his vial <5357> upon the sea <2281>; and it became <1096> as the blood <0129> of a dead <3498> [man]: and every <3956> living <2198> soul <5590> died < 0599> in the sea <2281>.

4 And the third <5154> angel <0032> poured < 1632> out his vial <5357> upon the rivers <4215> and fountains <4077> of waters <5204>; and they became <1096> blood <0129>.

5 And I heard <0191> the angel <0032> of the waters <5204> say <3004>, Thou art <1488> righteous <1342> , O Lord <2962>, which <3588> art <5607>, and wast < 2258>, and shalt be, because <3754> thou hast judged <2919> thus <5023>.

6 For they have shed <1632> the blood <0129> of saints <0040> and prophets <4396>, and thou hast given < 1325> them blood <0129> to drink <4095>; for they are worthy <0514>.

7 And I heard <0191> another <0243> out of the altar <2379> say <3004>, Even <3483> so <3483>, Lord <2962> God <2316> Almighty <3841>, true <0228> and righteous <1342> [are] thy judgments <2920>.

8. And the fourth <5067> angel <0032> poured < 1632> out his vial <5357> upon the sun <2246>; and power was given <1325> unto him to scorch <2739> men <0444> with fire <4442>.

9 And men <0444> were scorched <2739> with great <3173> heat <2738>, and blasphemed <0987> the name < 3686> of God <2316>, which <3588> hath <2192> power <1849> over <1909> these <5025> plagues <4127>: and they repented <3340> not to give <1325> him glory < 1391>.

10 And the fifth <3991> angel <0032> poured < 1632> out his vial <5357> upon the seat <2362> of the beast <2342>; and his kingdom <0932> was full of darkness < 4656>; and they gnawed <3145> their tongues <1100> for pain <4192>,

11 And blasphemed <0987> the God <2316> of heaven <3772> because <1537> of their pains <4192> and their sores <1668>, and repented <3340> not of their deeds < 2041>.

12. And the sixth <1623> angel <0032> poured < 1632> out his vial <5357> upon the great <3173> river < 4215> Euphrates <2166>; and the water <5204> thereof < 0846> was dried <3583> up, that the way <3598> of the kings <0935> of the east <0395> might be prepared <2090>.

13 And I saw <1492> three <5140> unclean < 0169> spirits <4151> like <3664> frogs <0944> [come] out of the mouth <4750> of the dragon <1404>, and out of the mouth <4750> of the beast <2342>, and out of the mouth < 4750> of the false <5578> prophet <5578>.

14 For they are the spirits <4151> of devils <1142>, working <4160> miracles <4592>, [which] go <1607> forth <1607> unto the kings <0935> of the earth <1093> and of the whole <3650> world <3629>, to gather <4863> them to the battle <4171> of that great <3173> day <2250> of God <2316> Almighty <3841>.

15 Behold <2400>, I come <2064> as a thief < 2812>. Blessed <3107> [is] he that watcheth <1127>, and keepeth <5083> his garments <2440>, lest <3361> he walk <4043> naked <1131>, and they see <0991> his shame < 0808>.

16 And he gathered <4863> them together <4863> into <1519> a place <5117> called <2564> in the Hebrew < 1447> tongue <1447> Armageddon <0717>.

17. And the seventh <1442> angel <0032> poured < 1632> out his vial <5357> into <1519> the air <0109>; and there came <1831> a great <3173> voice <5456> out of the temple <3485> of heaven <3772>, from the throne < 2362>, saying <3004>, It is done <1096>.

18 And there were voices <5456>, and thunders <1027> , and lightnings <0796>; and there was a great <3173> earthquake <4578>, such <3634> as was not since <3739> men <0444> were upon the earth <1093>, so <5082> mighty <5082> an earthquake <4578>, [and] so <3779> great < 3173>.

19 And the great <3173> city <4172> was divided < 1096> into <1519> three <5140> parts <3313>, and the cities <4172> of the nations <1484> fell <4098>: and great <3173> Babylon <0897> came <3415> in remembrance <3415> before <1799> God <2316>, to give <1325> unto her the cup <4221> of the wine <3631> of the fierceness <2372> of his wrath <3709>.

20 And every <3956> island <3520> fled <5343> away, and the mountains <3735> were not found <2147>.

21 And there fell <2597> upon men <0444> a great <3173> hail <5464> out of heaven <3772>, [every stone] about <5613> the weight <5006> of a talent <5006>: and men <0444> blasphemed <0987> God <2316> because < 1537> of the plague <4127> of the hail <5464>; for the plague <4127> thereof <0846> was exceeding <4970> great <3173>.

Revelation 17

1. And there came <2064> one <1520> of the seven < 2033> angels <0032> which <3588> had <2192> the seven <2033> vials <5357>, and talked <2980> with me, saying <3004> unto me, Come <1204> hither <1204>; I will shew <1166> unto thee the judgment <2917> of the great <3173> whore <4204> that sitteth <2521> upon many <4183> waters <5204>:

2 With whom <3739> the kings <0935> of the earth <1093> have committed <4203> fornication <4203>, and the inhabitants <2730> of the earth <1093> have been made < 3182> drunk <3182> with the wine <3631> of her fornication <4202>.

3 So <2532> he carried <0667> me away <0667> in the spirit <4151> into <1519> the wilderness <2048>: and I saw <1492> a woman <1135> sit <2521> upon a scarlet <2847> coloured beast <2342>, full <1073> of names <3686> of blasphemy <0988>, having <2192> seven <2033> heads <2776> and ten <1176> horns <2768>.

4 And the woman <1135> was arrayed <4016> in purple <4209> and scarlet <2847> colour, and decked <5558> with gold <5557> and precious <5093> stones <3037> and pearls <3135>, having <2192> a golden <5552> cup <4221> in her hand <5495> full <1073> of abominations <0946> and filthiness <0168> of her fornication <4202>:

5 And upon her forehead <3359> [was] a name <3686> written <1125>, MYSTERY <3466>, BABYLON <0897> THE GREAT <3173>, THE MOTHER <3384> OF HARLOTS <4204> AND ABOMINATIONS <0946> OF THE EARTH <1093>.

6 And I saw <1492> the woman <1135> drunken < 3184> with the blood <0129> of the saints <0040>, and with the blood <0129> of the martyrs <3144> of Jesus <2424>: and when I saw <1492> her, I wondered <1839> with great < 3173> admiration <2295>.

7. And the angel <0032> said <2036> unto me, Wherefore <1302> didst thou marvel <2296>? I will tell < 2046> thee the mystery <3466> of the woman <1135>, and of the beast <2342> that carrieth <0941> her, which <3588> hath <2192> the seven <2033> heads <2776> and ten < 1176> horns <2768>.

8 The beast <2342> that thou sawest <1492> was, and is not; and shall ascend <0305> out of the bottomless <0012> pit, and go <5217> into <1519> perdition <0684>: and they that dwell <2730> on <1909> the earth <1093> shall wonder <2296>, whose <3739> names <3686> were not written <1125> in the book <0976> of life <2222> from the foundation <2602> of the world <2889>, when they behold <0991> the beast <2342> that was, and is not, and yet < 2539> is.

9 And here <5602> [is] the mind <3563> which < 3588> hath <2192> wisdom <4678>. The seven <2033> heads <2776> are seven <2033> mountains <3735>, on < 1909> which <0846> the woman <1135> sitteth <2521>.

10 And there are seven <2033> kings <0935>: five <4002> are fallen <4098>, and one <1520> is, [and] the other <0243> is not yet <3768> come <2064>; and when < 3752> he cometh <2064>, he must <1163> continue <3306> a short <3641> space.

11 And the beast <2342> that was, and is not, even < 2532> he is the eighth <3590>, and is of the seven <2033>, and goeth <5217> into <1519> perdition <0684>.

12 And the ten <1176> horns <2768> which < 3739> thou sawest <1492> are ten <1176> kings <0935>, which <3748> have received <2983> no <3768> kingdom < 0932> as yet <3768>; but receive <2983> power <1849> as kings <0935> one <3391> hour <5610> with the beast <2342>.

13 These <3778> have <2192> one <3391> mind <1106>, and shall give <1239> their power <1411> and strength <1849> unto the beast <2342>.

14. These <3778> shall make <4170> war <4170> with the Lamb <0721>, and the Lamb <0721> shall overcome < 3528> them: for he is Lord <2962> of lords <2962>, and King <0935> of kings <0935>: and they that are with him [are] called <2822>, and chosen <1588>, and faithful <4103>.

15 And he saith <3004> unto me, The waters <5204> which <3739> thou sawest <1492>, where <3757> the whore <4204> sitteth <2521>, are peoples <2992>, and multitudes <3793>, and nations <1484>, and tongues <1100> .

16 And the ten <1176> horns <2768> which < 3739> thou sawest <1492> upon the beast <2342>, these < 3778> shall hate <3404> the whore <4204>, and shall make <4160> her desolate <2049> and naked <1131>, and shall eat <5315> her flesh <4561>, and burn <2618> her with fire <4442>.

17 For God <2316> hath put <1325> in their hearts <2588> to fulfil <4160> his will <1106>, and to agree <4160>, and give <1325> their kingdom <0932> unto the beast <2342>, until <0891> the words <4487> of God < 2316> shall be fulfilled <5055>.

18 And the woman <1135> which <3739> thou sawest <1492> is that great <3173> city <4172>, which < 3588> reigneth <0932> over <1909> the kings <0935> of the earth <1093>.

Revelation 18

1. And after <3326> these <5023> things I saw < 1492> another <0243> angel <0032> come <2597> down <2597> from heaven <3772>, having <2192> great < 3173> power <1849>; and the earth <1093> was lightened < 5461> with his glory <1391>.

2 And he cried <2896> mightily <2479> with a strong <3173> voice <5456>, saying <3004>, Babylon <0897> the great <3173> is fallen <4098>, is fallen <4098>, and is become <1096> the habitation <2732> of devils <1142>, and the hold <5438> of every <3956> foul <0169> spirit <4151>, and a cage <5438> of every <3956> unclean < 0169> and hateful <3404> bird <3732>.

3 For all <3956> nations <1484> have drunk of the wine <3631> of the wrath <2372> of her fornication <4202> , and the kings <0935> of the earth <1093> have committed < 4203> fornication <4203> with her, and the merchants <1713> of the earth <1093> are waxed <4147> rich <4147> through <1537> the abundance <1411> of her delicacies <4764>.

4 And I heard <0191> another <0243> voice < 5456> from heaven <3772>, saying <3004>, Come <1831> out of her, my people <2992>, that ye be not partakers <4790> of her sins <0266>, and that ye receive <2983> not of her plagues <4127>.

5 For her sins <0266> have reached <0190> unto heaven <3772>, and God <2316> hath remembered <3421> her iniquities <0092>.

6 Reward <0591> her even <2532> as she rewarded < 0591> you, and double <1363> unto her double <1362> according <2596> to her works <2041>: in the cup <4221> which <3739> she hath filled <2767> fill <2767> to her double <1362>.

7 How <3745> much <3745> she hath glorified < 1392> herself <1438>, and lived deliciously <4763>, so < 5118> much <5118> torment <0929> and sorrow <3997> give <1325> her: for she saith <3004> in her heart <2588> , I sit <2521> a queen <0938>, and am <1510> no < 3756> widow <5503>, and shall see <1492> no <3364> sorrow <3997>.

8 Therefore <5124> shall her plagues <4127> come <2240> in one <3391> day <2250>, death <2288>, and mourning <3997>, and famine <3042>; and she shall be utterly <2618> burned <2618> with fire <4442>: for strong < 2478> [is] the Lord <2962> God <2316> who <3588> judgeth <2919> her.

9. And the kings <0935> of the earth <1093>, who < 3588> have committed <4203> fornication <4203> and lived deliciously <4763> with her, shall bewail <2799> her, and lament <2875> for her, when <3752> they shall see <0991> the smoke <2586> of her burning <4451>,

10 Standing <2476> afar <3113> off <0575> for the fear <5401> of her torment <0929>, saying <3004>, Alas <3758>, alas <3758>, that great <3173> city < 4172> Babylon <0897>, that mighty <2478> city <4172>! for in one <3391> hour <5610> is thy judgment <2920> come <2064>.

11 And the merchants <1713> of the earth <1093> shall weep <2799> and mourn <3996> over <1909> her; for no <3762> man <3762> buyeth <0059> their merchandise < 1117> any <3765> more <3765>:

12 The merchandise <1117> of gold <5557>, and silver <0696>, and precious <5093> stones <3037>, and of pearls <3135>, and fine linen <1040>, and purple <4209>, and silk <4596>, and scarlet <2847>, and all <3956> thyine <2367> wood <3586>, and all <3956> manner vessels <4632> of ivory <1661>, and all <3956> manner vessels <4632> of most precious <5093> wood <3586>, and of brass <5475>, and iron <4604>, and marble <3139>,

13 And cinnamon <2792>, and odours <2368>, and ointments <3464>, and frankincense <3030>, and wine < 3631>, and oil <1637>, and fine <4585> flour <4585>, and wheat <4621>, and beasts <2934>, and sheep <4263>, and horses <2462>, and chariots <4480>, and slaves <4983> , and souls <5590> of men <0444>.

14 And the fruits <3703> that thy soul <5590> lusted <1937> after are departed <0565> from thee, and all < 3956> things which <3588> were dainty <3045> and goodly < 2986> are departed <0565> from thee, and thou shalt find < 2147> them no <3764> more <3765> at all <3364>.

15 The merchants <1713> of these <5130> things, which <3588> were made <4147> rich <4147> by her, shall stand <2476> afar <3113> off <0575> for the fear < 5401> of her torment <0929>, weeping <2799> and wailing < 3996>,

16 And saying <3004>, Alas <3758>, alas <3758> , that great <3173> city <4172>, that was clothed <4016> in fine linen <1039>, and purple <4210>, and scarlet < 2847>, and decked <5558> with gold <5557>, and precious < 5093> stones <3037>, and pearls <3135>!

17 For in one <3391> hour <5610> so <5118> great <5118> riches <4149> is come <2049> to nought < 2049>. And every <3956> shipmaster <2942>, and all < 3956> the company <3658> in ships <4143>, and sailors < 3492>, and as many <3745> as trade <2038> by sea < 2281>, stood <2476> afar <3113> off <0575>,

18 And cried <2896> when they saw <3708> the smoke <2586> of her burning <4451>, saying <3004>, What < 5101> [city <4172> is] like <3664> unto this great < 3173> city <4172>!

19 And they cast <0906> dust <5522> on <1909> their heads <2776>, and cried <2896>, weeping <2799> and wailing <3996>, saying <3004>, Alas <3758>, alas < 3758>, that great <3173> city <4172>, wherein <3757> were made <4147> rich <4147> all <3956> that had < 2192> ships <4143> in the sea <2281> by reason <1537> of her costliness <5094>! for in one hour <5610> is she made <2049> desolate <2049>.

20 Rejoice <2165> over <1909> her, [thou] heaven <3772>, and [ye] holy <0040> apostles and prophets <4396> ; for God <2316> hath avenged <2917> you on <1537> her.

21 And a mighty <2478> angel <0032> took < 0142> up a stone <3037> like <5613> a great <3173> millstone <3458>, and cast <0906> [it] into <1519> the sea <2281>, saying <3004>, Thus <3779> with violence < 3731> shall that great <3173> city <4172> Babylon < 0897> be thrown <0906> down, and shall be found <2147> no <3364> more <2089> at all <3364>.

22 And the voice <5456> of harpers <2790>, and musicians <3451>, and of pipers <0834>, and trumpeters < 4538>, shall be heard <0191> no <3364> more <2089> at all <3364> in thee; and no <3364> craftsman <5079>, of whatsoever <3956> craft <5078> [he be], shall be found < 2147> any <2089> more <2089> in thee; and the sound < 5456> of a millstone <3458> shall be heard <0191> no < 3364> more <2089> at all <3364> in thee;

23 And the light <5457> of a candle <3088> shall shine <5316> no <3364> more <2089> at all <3364> in thee; and the voice <5456> of the bridegroom <3566> and of the bride <3565> shall be heard <0191> no <3364> more <2089> at all <3364> in thee: for thy merchants <1713> were the great <3175> men of the earth <1093>; for by thy sorceries <5331> were all <3956> nations <1484> deceived <4105>.

24 And in her was found <2147> the blood <0129> of prophets <4396>, and of saints <0040>, and of all <3956> that were slain <4969> upon the earth <1093>.

Revelation 19

1. And after <3326> these <5023> things I heard < 0191> a great <3173> voice <5456> of much <4183> people <3793> in heaven <3772>, saying <3004>, Alleluia <0239>; Salvation <4991>, and glory <1391>, and honour <5092>, and power <1411>, unto the Lord <2962> our God <2316>:

2 For true <0228> and righteous <1342> [are] his judgments <2920>: for he hath judged <2919> the great < 3173> whore <4204>, which <3748> did corrupt <5351> the earth <1093> with her fornication <4202>, and hath avenged <1556> the blood <0129> of his servants <1401> at < 1537> her hand <5495>.

3 And again <1208> they said <2046>, Alleluia < 0239>. And her smoke <2586> rose <0305> up for ever < 0165> and ever <0165>.

4 And the four <5064> and twenty <1501> elders < 4245> and the four <5064> beasts <2226> fell <4098> down and worshipped <4352> God <2316> that sat <2521> on <1909> the throne <2362>, saying <3004>, Amen < 0281>; Alleluia <0239>.

5. And a voice <5456> came <1831> out of the throne <2362>, saying <3004>, Praise <0134> our God <2316> , all <3956> ye his servants <1401>, and ye that fear < 5399> him, both small <3398> and great <3173>.

6 And I heard <0191> as it were the voice <5456> of a great <4183> multitude <3793>, and as the voice <5456> of many <4183> waters <5204>, and as the voice <5456> of mighty <2478> thunderings <1027>, saying <3004>, Alleluia <0239>: for the Lord <2962> God <2316> omnipotent <3841> reigneth <0936>.

7 Let us be glad <5463> and rejoice <0021>, and give <1325> honour <1391> to him: for the marriage <1062> of the Lamb <0721> is come <2064>, and his wife <1135> hath made <2090> herself <1438> ready <2090>.

8 And to her was granted <1325> that she should be arrayed <4016> in fine linen <1039>, clean <2513> and white <2986>: for the fine linen <1039> is the righteousness <1345> of saints <0040>.

9 And he saith <3004> unto me, Write <1125>, Blessed <3107> [are] they which are called <2564> unto the marriage <1062> supper <1173> of the Lamb <0721>. And he saith <3004> unto me, These <3778> are the true <0228> sayings <3056> of God <2316>.

10 And I fell <4098> at <1715> his feet <4228> to worship <4352> him. And he said <3004> unto me, See < 3700> [thou do it] not: I am <1510> thy fellowservant <4889> , and of thy brethren <0080> that have <2192> the testimony <3141> of Jesus <2424>: worship <4352> God <2316>: for the testimony <3141> of Jesus <2424> is the spirit < 4151> of prophecy <4394>.

11. And I saw <1492> heaven <3772> opened < 0455>, and behold <2400> a white <3022> horse <2462>; and he that sat <2521> upon him [was] called <2564> Faithful <4103> and True <0228>, and in righteousness <1343> he doth judge <2919> and make <4170> war <4170>.

12 His eyes <3788> [were] as a flame <5395> of fire <4442>, and on <1909> his head <2776> [were] many < 4183> crowns <1238>; and he had <2192> a name <3686> written <1125>, that no <3762> man <3762> knew < 1492>, but he himself.

13 And he [was] clothed <4016> with a vesture <2440> dipped <0911> in blood <0129>: and his name <3686> is called <2564> The Word <3056> of God <2316>.

14 And the armies <4753> [which <3588> were] in heaven <3772> followed <0190> him upon white <3022> horses <2462>, clothed <1746> in fine linen <1039>, white <3022> and clean <2513>.

15 And out of his mouth <4750> goeth <1607> a sharp <3691> sword <4501>, that with it he should smite <3960> the nations <1484>: and he shall rule <4165> them with a rod <4464> of iron <4603>: and he treadeth <3961> the winepress <3631> of the fierceness <2372> and wrath < 3709> of Almighty <3841> God <2316>.

16 And he hath <2192> on <1909> [his] vesture < 2440> and on <1909> his thigh <3382> a name <3686> written <1125>, KING <0935> OF KINGS <0935>, AND LORD <2962> OF LORDS <2962>.

17 And I saw <1492> an angel <0032> standing < 2476> in the sun <2246>; and he cried <2896> with a loud <3173> voice <5456>, saying <3004> to all <3956> the fowls <3732> that fly <4072> in the midst <3321> of heaven <3321>, Come <1205> and gather <4863> yourselves together <4863> unto the supper <1173> of the great < 3173> God <2316>;

18 That ye may eat <5315> the flesh <4561> of kings <0935>, and the flesh <4561> of captains <5506>, and the flesh <4561> of mighty <2478> men, and the flesh <4561> of horses <2462>, and of them that sit <2521> on <1909> them, and the flesh <4561> of all <3956> [men, both < 5037>] free <1658> and bond <1401>, both <2532> small <3398> and great <3173>.

19 And I saw <1492> the beast <2342>, and the kings <0935> of the earth <1093>, and their armies <4753>, gathered <4863> together <4863> to make <4160> war < 4171> against <3326> him that sat <2521> on <1909> the horse <2462>, and against <3326> his army <4753>.

20 And the beast <2342> was taken <4084>, and with him the false <5578> prophet <5578> that wrought <4160> miracles <4592> before <1799> him, with which <3739> he deceived <4105> them that had received <2983> the mark < 5480> of the beast <2342>, and them that worshipped <4352> his image <1504>. These <3588> both <1417> were cast < 0906> alive <2198> into <1519> a lake <3041> of fire <4442> burning <2545> with brimstone <2303>.

21 And the remnant <3062> were slain <0615> with the sword <4501> of him that sat <2521> upon the horse < 2462>, which <3588> [sword] proceeded <1607> out of his mouth <4750>: and all <3956> the fowls <3732> were filled <5526> with their flesh <4561>.

Revelation 20

1. And I saw <1492> an angel <0032> come <2597> down <2597> from heaven <3772>, having <2192> the key <2807> of the bottomless <0012> pit and a great <3173> chain <0254> in his hand <5495>.

2 And he laid hold <2902> on the dragon <1404>, that old <0744> serpent <3789>, which <3739> is the Devil <1228>, and Satan <4567>, and bound <1210> him a thousand <5507> years <2094>,

3 And cast <0906> him into <1519> the bottomless <0012> pit, and shut <2808> him up, and set <4972> a seal <4972> upon him, that he should deceive <4105> the nations <1484> no <3361> more <2089>, till <0891> the thousand <5507> years <2094> should be fulfilled < 5055>: and after <3326> that he must <1163> be loosed < 3089> a little <3398> season <5550>.

4 And I saw <1492> thrones <2362>, and they sat < 2523> upon them, and judgment <2917> was given <1325> unto them: and [I saw] the souls <5590> of them that were beheaded < 3990> for the witness <3141> of Jesus <2424>, and for the word <3056> of God <2316>, and which <3748> had not worshipped <4352> the beast <2342>, neither <3777> his image <1504>, neither <3756> had received <2983> [his] mark <5480> upon their foreheads <3359>, or <2532> in their hands <5495>; and they lived <2198> and reigned < 0936> with Christ <5547> a thousand <5507> years < 2094>.

5 But the rest <3062> of the dead <3498> lived < 0326> not again <0326> until <2193> the thousand < 5507> years <2094> were finished <5055>. This <3778> [is] the first <4413> resurrection <0386>.

6 Blessed <3107> and holy <0040> [is] he that hath <2192> part <3313> in the first <4413> resurrection < 0386>: on <1909> such <5130> the second <1208> death <2288> hath <2192> no <3756> power <1849>, but they shall be priests <2409> of God <2316> and of Christ < 5547>, and shall reign <0936> with him a thousand <5507> years <2094>.

7 And when <3752> the thousand <5507> years < 2094> are expired <5055>, Satan <4567> shall be loosed < 3089> out of his prison <5438>,

8 And shall go <1831> out to deceive <4105> the nations <1484> which <3588> are in the four <5064> quarters <1137> of the earth <1093>, Gog <1136> and Magog <3098>, to gather <4863> them together <4863> to battle <4171>: the number <0706> of whom <3739> [is] as the sand <0285> of the sea <2281>.

9 And they went <0305> up on <1909> the breadth < 4114> of the earth <1093>, and compassed <2944> the camp <3925> of the saints <0040> about <2944>, and the beloved <0025> city <4172>: and fire <4442> came < 2597> down <2597> from God <2316> out of heaven <3772> , and devoured <2719> them.

10 And the devil <1228> that deceived <4105> them was cast <0906> into <1519> the lake <3041> of fire < 4442> and brimstone <2303>, where <3699> the beast < 2342> and the false <5578> prophet <5578> [are], and shall be tormented <0928> day <2250> and night <3571> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>.

11. And I saw <1492> a great <3173> white < 3022> throne <2362>, and him that sat <2521> on <1909> it, from whose <3739> face <4383> the earth <1093> and the heaven <3772> fled <5343> away; and there was found < 2147> no <3756> place <5117> for them.

12 And I saw <1492> the dead <3498>, small < 3398> and great <3173>, stand <2476> before <1799> God <2316>; and the books <0975> were opened <0455>: and another <0243> book <0976> was opened <0455>, which < 3739> is [the book <0976>] of life <2222>: and the dead < 3498> were judged <2919> out of those <3588> things which were written <1125> in the books <0975>, according <2596> to their works <2041>.

13 And the sea <2281> gave <1325> up the dead < 3498> which <3588> were in it; and death <2288> and hell <0086> delivered <1325> up the dead <3498> which < 3588> were in them: and they were judged <2919> every <1538> man according <2596> to their works <2041>.

14 And death <2288> and hell <0086> were cast < 0906> into <1519> the lake <3041> of fire <4442>. This <3778> is the second <1208> death <2288>.

15 And whosoever <3156> was not found <2147> written <1125> in the book <0976> of life <2222> was cast <0906> into <1519> the lake <3041> of fire < 4442>.

Revelation 21

1. And I saw <1492> a new <2537> heaven <3772> and a new <2537> earth <1093>: for the first <4413> heaven <3772> and the first <4413> earth <1093> were passed <3928> away; and there was no <3756> more <2089> sea <2281>.

2 And I John <2491> saw <1492> the holy <0040> city <4172>, new <2537> Jerusalem <2419>, coming < 2597> down <2597> from God <2316> out of heaven <3772> , prepared <2090> as a bride <3565> adorned <2885> for her husband <0435>.

3 And I heard <0191> a great <3173> voice < 5456> out of heaven <3772> saying <3004>, Behold < 2400>, the tabernacle <4633> of God <2316> [is] with men <0444>, and he will dwell <4637> with them, and they shall be his people <2992>, and God <2316> himself <0846> shall be with them, [and be] their God <2316>.

4 And God <2316> shall wipe <1813> away <1813> all <3956> tears <1144> from their eyes <3788>; and there shall be no <3756> more <2089> death <2288>, neither <3777> sorrow <3997>, nor <3777> crying < 2906>, neither shall there be any <2089> more <2089> pain <4192>: for the former <4413> things are passed <0565> away <0565>.

5 And he that sat <2521> upon the throne <2362> said <2036>, Behold <2400>, I make <4160> all < 3956> things new <2537>. And he said <3004> unto me, Write <1125>: for these <3778> words <3056> are true < 0228> and faithful <4103>.

6 And he said <2036> unto me, It is done <1096>. I am <1510> Alpha <0001> and Omega <5598>, the beginning <0746> and the end <5056>. I will give <1325> unto him that is athirst <1372> of the fountain <4077> of the water < 5204> of life <2222> freely <1432>.

7 He that overcometh <3528> shall inherit <2816> all <3956> things; and I will be his God <2316>, and he shall be my son <5207>.

8 But the fearful <1169>, and unbelieving <0571>, and the abominable <0948>, and murderers <5406>, and whoremongers <4205>, and sorcerers <5332>, and idolaters < 1496>, and all <3956> liars <5571>, shall have their part <3313> in the lake <3041> which <3739> burneth < 2545> with fire <4442> and brimstone <2303>: which < 3739> is the second <1208> death <2288>.

9. And there came <2064> unto me one <1520> of the seven <2033> angels <0032> which <3588> had <2192> the seven <2033> vials <5357> full <1073> of the seven <2033> last <2078> plagues <4127>, and talked < 2980> with me, saying <3004>, Come <1204> hither < 1204>, I will shew <1166> thee the bride <3565>, the Lamb's <0721> wife <1135>.

10 And he carried <0667> me away <0667> in the spirit <4151> to a great <3173> and high <5308> mountain <3735>, and shewed <1166> me that great <3173> city < 4172>, the holy <0040> Jerusalem <2419>, descending < 2597> out of heaven <3772> from God <2316>,

11 Having <2192> the glory <1391> of God < 2316>: and her light <5458> [was] like <3664> unto a stone <3037> most precious <5093>, even <5613> like < 5613> a jasper <2393> stone <3037>, clear <2929> as crystal <2929>;

12 And had <2192> a wall <5038> great <3173> and high <5308>, [and] had <2192> twelve <1427> gates <4440>, and at <1909> the gates <4440> twelve < 1427> angels <0032>, and names <3686> written <1924> thereon <1924>, which <3739> are [the names] of the twelve < 1427> tribes <5443> of the children <5207> of Israel < 2474>:

13 On <0575> the east <0395> three <5140> gates <4440>; on <0575> the north <1005> three < 5140> gates <4440>; on <0575> the south <3558> three <5140> gates <4440>; and on <0575> the west <1424> three <5140> gates <4440>.

14 And the wall <5038> of the city <4172> had < 2192> twelve <1427> foundations <2310>, and in them the names <3686> of the twelve <1427> apostles <0652> of the Lamb <0721>.

15 And he that talked <2980> with me had <2192> a golden <5552> reed <2563> to measure <3354> the city < 4172>, and the gates <4440> thereof <0846>, and the wall <5038> thereof <0846>.

16 And the city <4172> lieth <2749> foursquare < 5068>, and the length <3372> is as large <5118> as the breadth <4114>: and he measured <3354> the city <4172> with the reed <2563>, twelve <1427> thousand <5505> furlongs <4712>. The length <3372> and the breadth <4114> and the height <5311> of it are equal <2470>.

17 And he measured <3354> the wall <5038> thereof <0846>, an hundred <1540> [and] forty <5062> [and] four <5064> cubits <4083>, [according to] the measure <3358> of a man <0444>, that is, of the angel <0032>.

18 And the building <1739> of the wall <5038> of it was [of] jasper <2393>: and the city <4172> [was] pure < 2513> gold <5553>, like <3664> unto clear <2513> glass <5194>.

19 And the foundations <2310> of the wall <5038> of the city <4172> [were] garnished <2885> with all <3956> manner of precious <5093> stones <3037>. The first <4413> foundation <2310> [was] jasper <2393>; the second <1208> , sapphire <4552>; the third <5154>, a chalcedony <5472>; the fourth <5067>, an emerald <4665>;

20 The fifth <3991>, sardonyx <4557>; the sixth < 1623>, sardius <4556>; the seventh <1442>, chrysolite < 5555>; the eighth <3590>, beryl <0969>; the ninth < 1766>, a topaz <5116>; the tenth <1182>, a chrysoprasus < 5556>; the eleventh <1734>, a jacinth <5192>; the twelfth <1428>, an amethyst <0271>.

21 And the twelve <1427> gates <4440> [were] twelve <1427> pearls <3135>; every <1538> several <1520> gate <4440> was of one <1520> pearl <1328>: and the street <4113> of the city <4172> [was] pure <2513> gold <5553>, as it were transparent <1307> glass <5194>.

22 And I saw <1492> no <3756> temple <3485> therein <0846>: for the Lord <2962> God <2316> Almighty <3841> and the Lamb <0721> are the temple <3485> of it.

23 And the city <4172> had <2192> no <3756> need <5532> of the sun <2246>, neither <3761> of the moon <4582>, to shine <5316> in it: for the glory <1391> of God <2316> did lighten <5461> it, and the Lamb <0721> [is] the light <3088> thereof <0846>.

24 And the nations <1484> of them which are saved < 4982> shall walk <4043> in the light <5457> of it: and the kings <0935> of the earth <1093> do bring <5342> their glory <1391> and honour <5092> into <1519> it.

25 And the gates <4440> of it shall not be shut < 2808> at all <3364> by day <2250>: for there shall be no <3756> night <3571> there <1563>.

26 And they shall bring <5342> the glory <1391> and honour <5092> of the nations <1484> into <1519> it.

27 And there shall in no <3364> wise enter <1525> into <1519> it any <3956> thing that defileth <2840>, neither [whatsoever] worketh <4160> abomination <0946>, or < 2532> [maketh] a lie <5579>: but they which are written < 1125> in the Lamb's <0721> book <0975> of life <2222>.

Revelation 22

1. And he shewed <1166> me a pure <2513> river < 4215> of water <5204> of life <2222>, clear <2986> as crystal <2930>, proceeding <1607> out of the throne < 2362> of God <2316> and of the Lamb <0721>.

2 In the midst <3319> of the street <4113> of it, and on <1909> either <2532> side <1782> of the river < 4215>, [was there] the tree <3586> of life <2222>, which bare <4160> twelve <1427> [manner of] fruits <2590>, [and] yielded <0591> her fruit <2590> every <1538> month <3376>: and the leaves <5444> of the tree <3586> [were] for the healing <2322> of the nations <1484>.

3 And there shall be no <3756> more <2089> curse <2652>: but the throne <2362> of God <2316> and of the Lamb <0721> shall be in it; and his servants <1401> shall serve <3000> him:

4 And they shall see <3708> his face <4383>; and his name <3686> [shall be] in their foreheads <3359>.

5 And there shall be no <3756> night <3571> there <1563>; and they need <5532> no <3756> candle < 3088>, neither light <5457> of the sun <2246>; for the Lord <2962> God <2316> giveth them light <5461>: and they shall reign <0936> for ever <0165> and ever <0165>.

6. And he said <2036> unto me, These <3778> sayings <3056> [are] faithful <4103> and true <0228>: and the Lord <2962> God <2316> of the holy <0040> prophets < 4396> sent <0649> his angel <0032> to shew <1166> unto his servants <1401> the things which <3739> must < 1163> shortly <5034> be done <1096>.

7 Behold <2400>, I come <2064> quickly <5035>: blessed <3107> [is] he that keepeth <5083> the sayings < 3056> of the prophecy <4394> of this <5127> book < 0975>.

8 And I John <2491> saw <0991> these <5023> things, and heard <0191> [them]. And when <3753> I had heard <0191> and seen <0991>, I fell <4098> down to worship <4352> before <1715> the feet <4228> of the angel < 0032> which <3588> shewed <1166> me these <5023> things.

9 Then <2532> saith <3004> he unto me, See < 3708> [thou do it] not: for I am <1510> thy fellowservant < 4889>, and of thy brethren <0080> the prophets <4396>, and of them which keep <5083> the sayings <3056> of this < 5127> book <0975>: worship <4352> God <2316>.

10 And he saith <3004> unto me, Seal <4972> not the sayings <3056> of the prophecy <4394> of this <5127> book <0975>: for the time <2540> is at <1451> hand < 1451>.

11 He that is unjust <0091>, let him be unjust < 0091> still <2089>: and he which is filthy <4510>, let him be filthy <4510> still <2089>: and he that is righteous < 1342>, let him be righteous <1344> still <2089>: and he that is holy <0040>, let him be holy <0037> still <2089>.

12 And, behold <2400>, I come <2064> quickly < 5035>; and my reward <3408> [is] with me, to give <0591> every <1538> man according <5613> as his work <2041> shall be.

13 I am <1510> Alpha <0001> and Omega <5598>, the beginning <0746> and the end <5056>, the first <4413> and the last <2078>.

14 Blessed <3107> [are] they that do <4160> his commandments <1785>, that they may have <2071> right < 1849> to the tree <3586> of life <2222>, and may enter < 1525> in through the gates <4440> into <1519> the city < 4172>.

15 For without <1854> [are] dogs <2965>, and sorcerers <5333>, and whoremongers <4205>, and murderers < 5406>, and idolaters <1496>, and whosoever <3588> loveth <5368> and maketh <4160> a lie <5579>.

16 I Jesus <2424> have sent <3992> mine <3450> angel <0032> to testify <3140> unto you these <5023> things in the churches <1577>. I am <1510> the root < 4491> and the offspring <1085> of David <1138>, [and] the bright <2986> and morning <3720> star <0792>.

17 And the Spirit <4151> and the bride <3565> say <3004>, Come <2064>. And let him that heareth <0191> say <2036>, Come <2064>. And let him that is athirst <1372> come <2064>. And whosoever <3588> will <2309>, let him take <2902> the water <5204> of life <2222> freely < 1432>.

18 For I testify <4828> unto every <3956> man < 3956> that heareth <0191> the words <3056> of the prophecy <4394> of this <5127> book <0975>, If <1437> any <5100> man shall add <2007> unto these <5023> things, God <2316> shall add <2007> unto him the plagues <4127> that are written <1125> in this <5129> book <0975>:

19 And if <1437> any <5100> man shall take < 0851> away <0851> from the words <3056> of the book < 0976> of this <5129> prophecy <4394>, God <2316> shall take <0851> away <0851> his part <3313> out of the book <0976> of life <2222>, and out of the holy <0040> city <4172>, and [from] the things which are written <1125> in this <5026> book <0975>.

20. He which testifieth <3140> these <5023> things saith <3004>, Surely <3483> I come <2064> quickly < 5035>. Amen <0281>. Even <3483> so <3483>, come < 2064>, Lord <2962> Jesus <2424>.

21 The grace <5485> of our Lord <2962> Jesus < 2424> Christ <5547> [be] with you all <3956>. Amen < 0281>.
